13b-RE Stock Primary injector grommets? (pics)

Hello. I have a 13b-RE. I am using the stock primary rail, but I can't figure out how it is going to work.

The primary injectors are side feed, and have huge gaps on the side that would let air through and cause a huge vac leak. ... I have it now so that the bottoms of the injector sits and seals on a grommet, but I don't know what the heck I am supposed to do about the sides? It seems like I am missing something VERY important.

Thanks.
~Tweak

If someone could take a picture of how theirs looks (the stock way) that would help out a lot!

you are using the wrong grommet. the one you are using on the bottom is the one that goes on between the injector and the fuel rail. the one that goes on the bottom is the thick round solid one. im posting this pic just for reference purposes. I know they are top fed and yours are side fed but this is what it is supposed to look like.

Ok, I think I figured it out a little. But I still have a problem. I found the o-ring it sits on to seal off above the hole there. But I only have one. Does anybody know where I could find another one of these? Maybe another vehicle that has our type of side feed injectors? I already looked at an REW today and they have much different types of side feed injectors.

Thanks

You were looking for the secondary injectors, that are top feed. I'm looking for some primary side feed injector grommets.

Thanks though.

hey mate, I dont know for sure, but the way you have it now is the same as my 13b-re.

It feels like higher up the injector that bit seals it. Dont know how to explain it hung over.

those "vac leaks" are the same on my injectors.

the upper ring dealie is NF02-13-257A in the picture with them both in your hand its the one on the left

NF01-13-257A is the one on the right.

nf02 goes around the body of the fuel rail, nf01 goes down in the hole.

if you need new ones, the fd uses the nf01 part, but the nf02 you probably have to call mazda comp (they stock it)

Update : Looks like mazdaspeed is back ordered. If anybody has one laying around they would like to sell. Please hit me up.

Do you have the part numbers for these places? I don't have either of those places locally. I have car quest, schucks, napa, things like that.

super late bump. hehe. I still have not been able to find the ring and mazdaspeed is backordered tons. Parts number for this ring at pep boys and such would be awesome!

I think the ring me and my dad made (out of a larger ring) is working a little bit, but could be causing a vac leak. I would like to get the correct oring in there.
