Single or dual pumps?

I am installing the fuel system on my thrid gen now and I was planning on running twin bosch 044s(which I ahve already bought). I am running a GT4094r on a street ported engine. My goal is around 550rwhp w/ alcohol. I have 1000 primarys(which I might change to 850) and 1680 secondaries. Should I stick w/ twin pumps or will 1 pump work ok for me? I am running 8an feed line and 6an return.

Any help with this would be great. Thanks

Who is doing the tuneing?
Im running 2 pumps plus the meth on my setup 850 & 1600 S-362 turbo, since you already have them i dont see a reason not to run them better to have more fuel then not enough

Im having the guy from Rotorsport Racing tune it for me. When I talked to him he said that we would run the second pump on a boost switck set at 1 vac.

since you pose the question i will offer an answer...

one pump and a Kenne Bell Boost A Pump (BAP).

i run a Nippon Denso Cosmo pump directing 850/1600s w a BAP..

i have run 25%+ methanol for two seasons with the above.

if you run a similar amount of alcohol, your injector duty cycle will drop 15+% versus gasoline only. my IDC dropped from high 80s to mid 60s when i added alcohol.

making 468 ft pounds of torque.

the BAP only functions in boost. the volt gain to your fuel pump is adj. i run it at plus 20%. i log fuel pressure digitally so i know i have zero drop-off... i have run my BAP for 5 years and my pump continues to work fine.

love the simplicity V 2 pumps.

Aeromotive has a single pump inside of a sump now. If you need fuel thats the way to go!

single pump with Boost-a-pump is a good combo actually, but when you say alcohol you mean injection right, not straight E85?

Yes I mean injected. I know I have seen cars running almost identacal setups as mine making 500+rwhp with no injection running 1 bosch 044. That is why I was wondering if I should just run one pump.
