DJ- Just grab what you need switch wise and let me know when you want to do it. It is not a problem at all.

So Here is what happened when I pulled the radiator out. One thing led to another and now I am committed without an escape Should be nice when I am done. Shooting for 2 week turnaround for the enginebay work.

I didn't realize you had to pull the fenders just to remove the radiator.!!

Not bad for a few hours work removing 28 year old rusted body fasteners!! More pics to come as I do more stuff

The BK in Mooresville. Williamson RD off I77 exit 36. I hope the SE is going to be a good DD for a while. Thanks to Long for bringing me an awsome clutch fan. Now I have all the belts back on, and I should hopefully have the AC recharged and back working

Ewww, grimy. I don't think I have seen one that dirty in a while. Looking at the exhaust ports, it looks like the engine is running about perfect. I dont know if you have ever tried this before on aluminum, but the brass wire wheel makes aluminum look awsome.

Yeah It is dirty.!! But I don't know if the engine has ever been out of it before. I haven't inspected it closely to see if it is a reman or what. Simple Green and a pressure washer are my friends. I'll try the brass wheel trick as well. Not sure what color Iam doing the engine. Maybe a black and polished?... Or match the enginebay...

What did you do today Stu?

Yeah that is a trials bike. It is a ton of fun to ride. It helps you be a better rider of any motorcycle due to how you learn balance and body positioning and it's effects on the rest of the bike.

What kind of shape is the 89 in? What all would be included in the purchase of the car? Is this the widebody car? Or a donor car.

if I sold the car I would let it roll away as is. front windshield cracked, needs radio, corner vents, drivers side handle is a little loose, rear end has either a loose mount somewhere or the small clunk noise I hear could be the pinion snub rubber mount...the clutch doesn't slip so when you let it out, its out.its only when you first engage the clutch. the driveshaft bolts may may be too small in diameter? I will prolly fix the isssue since its driving me crazy...lol...and it needs paint.

it has a jdm s5 engine and tranny...stock. when I got it I flooded it with seafoam for a few months turning it over by hand every week. I got it from sunrise....i did research and found them to be the best to buy from....anyway, the gauge cluster said 46xxx japenese miles....engine had no mods, clutch disk had minimal wear, I have a pic of the flywheel somewhere....it was like a 90 year old granny drove the car or it was replaced
...engine was/is stock.....if the car is left as is it should be at least a 100,000 mile setup...tranny has new shifter bushings and has no issues at all....os giken super single clutch and flywheel installed....if I part the car I will keep thems....12 lb flywheel vs 28 stock....wows...act counterweight....hks filter, rb 3" downpipe into rb dual 2.5...r-magic ecu tuned for stock turbo with my mods...jic magic front coilovers with camber plates illuminas with rb lowering springs in back...fd fuel pump, new vented and slotted rotors and pads, s4 turbo driveshaft/rearend, needs a driverside window switch but all lights and windows work....new plugs ngk wires new fluids throughout car, maybe 10 miles since build? runs/drives/boosts/stops/ work vs-ss wheels bfg z rated tires with 9/10 tread....lightweight lugnuts....and whatever else I forgot or don't feel like writing

well...... went for our monthly run with josh, sam, edgar, kory and his bro, manny, and one more i cant remember his name, and all was well till i had a mis hap, not doing anything crazy, just rolling at say about 40-45mph, i guess i dosed off or something, and smashed a mail box. yeah im a little sick about that myself. it smashed my windshield and ripped off my mirror. oh well, i guess it happens to everyone sooner or later. i have never had issues with smashing cars up, but im guessing it was telling me it was time for some needed restorations. to bad it was a 6 month old windshield

Dude, I swear. We can't take you no where. Man, that sucks. I can't believe that happened. Good thing is, it really didn't hurt the car. All in all we had a good turn out. If dave would have today, we would have all three gens representing with a RX8 to boot. Thanks to all the guys that came out today. Even with Andre's little mishap, we still had a good time.
