We've already stopped production on FRP ones. We're doing some experimentations right now.

Does that mean you are not going to finish the orders? What gives man? I've got $50 to you guys already. Are you putting the CF dudes that are way down on the list in front of the plain FRP ones that have put deposits down already?

Waiting for an answer.

Hey guys,

We've already made one part. I'm getting me FD back from the paint shop soon. It was painted yesterday. Then I can do a test fitment. I might go to the shop just to test fit the difffuser. Everything should be good to go.

We're going to make 10 FRP ones first to fulfill the demand. Then we're going to figure out how to do the CF one.

The CF one is difficult because it cannot be handlaid. It is too difficult...at least to make a nice looking one handlaid. We have to vacuum infuse it, which requires us to add additional instruments to the mold etc....

Ken

As he promised he has made and shipped out at least 10 give them a chance to get to everyone guys, he never said they were done making them obviously they have the mold made and once they figure out the carbon version im sure everything will get back on track. Good parts are worth waiting for, hell its a 6 month wait for weld rims and a very similar wait for various re-amiya parts they only started shipping these out a month and a half ago and have already shipped out 13 seems to me like Ken is doing his best to make sure these get out in a timely manner no reason to trash the thread. Thanks for takin time for us Carbon guys Ken I look forward to the finished product.

Hey guys. I apologize if there was any confusion. I didn't mean that we stopped the order permanently. We simply stopped production on the FRP ones after 15 were made and shipped out, so we can work on doing a carbon one. We only have one mold, so it's either one or the other. If you guys haven't noticed, there are posts every now and then asking for when the CF one is going to be done. We obviously cannot please everyone at the same time. If we can do the CF one, I would like to make 5-10 before jumping back on the FRP. Jumping back and forth between CF and FRP is not a wise thing to do.

Well then, would it not have been logical to produce 24 of the FRP ones to satisfy the demand of the people in line before the first person that requested a Carbon Fiber one?

That way you would have gotten paid for all of the ones previous to the first Carbon Fiber request and everone would be happy.

I'm not complaining and will still eagerly await mine to be completed.

It mounts flat up against it and attaches with the two nuts forward of the tank on the straps as well as using the stock mounting hardware from the factory "diffuser".

Just like he mentioned, they have to try and make it they are not sure yet if they can produce one yet, you FRP guys already know you are getting one its just patients how would you like to sit in line on something then when 4 months down the line when they get to you go hey we cant make it sorry you waited so long. He runs a business, they already know they can feel the demand of the FRP, he does have a significant interest in the carbon fiber version so if he wants to take a week to try and accomidate everyone respect that, honestly to me its plain logic, your going to get your defuser Im sure of it just be patient and stop giving him a hard time for trying to run a business.

Yes it would be logical to produce the first 24 first, but when I announced we were going to make 15 FRP ones first, that was before people started to put their interest in carbon on the list. So since I said 15, that's pretty much where we stopped. I figured there could be a few guys who might change their minds and want the carbon one. Not everyone on the first 25 listed have decided for sure that they want FRP if the option of carbon was available.
