I've told Ken that I have the full kit 05 version, and wouldn't mind him reproducing it for a small portion of the proceeds. Considering there would be no upfront cost to anyone to order the kit from overseas. I also live in Cali, so turn around time should be short.

The problem is that we need 15 people that want the FULL kit, not 15 that want only a portion of it. (i.e. just the front bumper, or just the fenders.) Once we can get a definitive list of 15 people who can put down legit deposits; I'm sure Ken will chime in.

Is yours JKL Eng version of 05 kit? either case, I might be interested if 05 kit is made. I have the 02 bumper and undersweep but its getting some custom work done for a SEMA next year.

Yes, it's CF. I believe it was originally 2muchboost4u's bumper, who purchased it from JKL. I also have the 05 version of the bumper from JKL.

There are still others looking to have a reputable stateside shop manufacture these. I, in particular, am looking for these pieces in dry carbon, which are not avaliable off RHD.

Hopefully we can finish generating the interest for 5 more people before more people start buying at list price.

Well I am definitely still down for the full kit.
So if Ken uses Your kit (Blackadde///) then it's gonna be just as bad fitment as the JKL right?.. so what's the point?
What is this RHD kit? any good?

There is no "RHD kit". They are referring to an online parts store that imports the RE Amemiya ADGT kit.

I wasn't aware the fitment on the JKL kit was bad.

Honestly, there is really only one problem area on their kit, and that can easily be fixed when making the molds.

JKL had a falling out a while ago because they disappeared after a bunch of people gave them big $ for body kits.

I believe the only thing they produce now are aluminum door handles

CT Jkl

Jkl is still making this kit and selling it. They are currently out of stock of the wide body but have the front bumper and undertray with all the carbon fiber ad ons for the kit in stock. They also have the gt wing in frp and carbon fiber in stock. They don't answer their phones ever but they will reply to your emails.

You guys can take me off the list I bought the original re AMEMIYA wide body kit that jkl used to make their mold and a front bumper from Japan.

Sorry for jumping ship guys but my car is on a schedule. Anyways best of luck to you guys.

I don't think Ken or any other companies will be making them in dry carbon.. as process is bit different and not cost affective... especially seeing everyone wants Ken to do it to save money.

Don't mean to thread derail but I strongly suggest people check out JKL in the "Bad Guy" section and make an informed decision before purchasing from them. Last I saw, they still owed thousands of dollars worth of product to people that has never shipped. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I know gramlight fd suggested that JKL is making these parts but I don't think so..

Like I stated earlier, I found a chinese source that replicates bunch of import car parts (MS, Honda, Bride seats, RE-a,etc) and all the parts JKL used to sell IS on there. I wanted to find more about the products and I chatted with the rep via email and he specifically told me that they have the mold and ARE made in china.

SO, JKL i think was just a middle man and NOT actual manufacturer of these parts.

Just wanted to clarify my findings to you guys..

I was impatient and bought a knock off kit a few moths back. After trying to find one states side and getting the runnaround I got one from a company in England had it in less than two weeks. Front 05 ,with undertray ,carbon canards, front fenders with carbon add on, sides ,and rear quarters. And a big carbon wing. Rear add ons fit terrible and sides didn't fit to suit me either. But for the price I can defiantly work it out. Bottom line I would of without a doubt bought one from ken if it had all ready been produced.

I'd really like to see this kit produced state side in dry carbon. Heck I'd even buy the kit from Japan if Ken would make a Dry Carbon verson for me.

Is this kit going into production? If so, how much?
