let me know before you switch off days as I want to make sure Ray is ok with that. I know from past events the tuner can get worn out from breathing exhaust for hours on end.

nice, i live right around the corner from Static X. i'm off Sullivan Street. their really nice guys, and Papi at the shop actually usta race 7's in the 80's. he dusnt want to work on them anymore cause they cause too much and you can make same bang for the buck out of pistons. he shot down my idea of taken apart my junkyard 87 engine (been sitten a junkyard for 5+ years with 150k on the odo) and said to nip it in the bud and go to Hinsons Supercar in south HSV. but whatever, im goin to rebuild it properly, even if it takes me 2 years. as for Sushi, the best i've had is from Monaco Movie Theater at the Bridge Street mall. any other questions for local stuff? i've been living in Madison for 15+ years.

 

No to the LS1... Sorry.... Not my taste.. Have scene a few nice examples but I think in 10 years or less those cars will be worth nothing. Build a quaility motor with the correct supporting mods and you will be just fine.

I only eat sushi at Panda on Airport/whitesburg.. Close to work and priced pretty good.

This is wrong. He may have raced them but he is way behind times. There are guys making 7-800rwhp now on a 2 rotor. All on a $3-5000 motor. Show me the LS1 built motor that can make 800rwhp and the price tag...

less than a week! Get those last minute thing complete. Change fluids, fresh plugs, etc.. Hell I wont put the new plugs in until the parking lot.....

 

what hotel is everypne staying in? or is anyone? im going to come friday morning and stay over
hotel suggestions.. from the hometowners?

 

Fluid and filter chages complete, new plug will go in before the tune. I'm just not to excited about the 6 hour drive from Biloxi.
Oh well.... the end result will be worth it.

the shop is 2 minutes from the airport so there are quite a few and any of them will be fine since its not in trashy area. I would just wait until you are here to get a room. That way maybe guys that stay over night can split a room.

StaticX is off 20, if your heading west on 20 and hit County Line intersection you've past it. as for hotels, there's plenty. a new La Quinta just opened up that's right down from StaticX, but there's 2 others just about the same distance, Motel6 and another one... i forgot its name, beside that RV-park place. id say sk8world has the best idea, and there's noting big goen on here so i don't see a reason why places will be packed or something.

btw estevan it would be pretty easy for ray wilson and less time consuming (i think) if when your tune is done just let me load your map up and customize it if that will work which i dont see why not, but i dont know what hp your shooting for but aslong as its below 500 it should be fine.
thursday im doing all my tune up stuff, for all that are going to stick around while my car is on dyno my car is pretty freaky sounding when the wastegate opens up (3inch screamer pipe straight to the ground) scares the **** out of everyone i raced when i had the rtek 2.1 installed.
but i cant wait to see all your cars, not a big rx7 scene here in north nashville area atleast not many people that are involved in the "scene"

I think your noise will be right at home. I am running 4inch w/ dump gate also.

Not sure on hotel for Ray, he maybe staying at my place...up to him..

hey i might need a different trailing coil?? my T1 isnt firing ? so i have to figure it out.

also tried to 0 out timing and its all over the place i hooked up to L1 and put the gun on 20 deg. and the red line is way left like 2inches? the only way i can get it close the the mark is turn the timing on the gun to like 50-60 degreees? anything i can check out?

 

pm Dustin he can bring one to the dyno..
