Wouldnt bother me a bit, as long as it was you in a rotary!! But you have some work to do. My 60's last year were getting pretty consistant in the 1.6's. I am also working to add a 2 step on my car. Not sure if you know about that but in short I will be leaving on boost, kinda like the automatic boys....


Got my tires in and I think they are going to be too tall for the fronts. So its either run motorcycle tires or reorder the welds and gring the calipers....

 

well how much do you have to grid the calipers?

could you get someone to "shave" the skinnies down?

 

skinny's are on and fit. Look a tad tall but will do the job. These are the same tires that Tony, Kyle and Gary run on there supra's. I have to work this weekend again but I am going to hit the track the first day I get a chance.

i'll more than likely be out there tonight. i pulled my engine and trans last week and i got my flywheel stopper today, so im getten closer and closer to disassembling and checking specs. im just lookin for a extra set of wheels so i can roll both shells around and free up some space, and waiting for warmer weather to take out both dashboards and carpets to get that trans bracket fabed and welded in. oh, Chris, Dustins friend will mod your Holly like he did and all that good stuff for i think 100, cant remember if thats right. just drop him a pm.

 

I went last weekend for 1 pass, sorry I didnt hit any of you up but I was not 100% sure if I was going or not. Same goes for this Friday night again. "IF" I get to go I am going to be there early when the gates open so I can get in a few runs. I found a couple issues today I have to get fixed before then.

Friday is here in Huntsville. April6-7 I may go to a private track rental at Steele..
Were is the track by you Tim? How far from Huntsville and is it 1/4?

 

Heck, I'll have to look on mapquest to see. I've never been but it is a 1/4 track and I think about 1 hour away from the Rome, Ga area.

I am trying to leave work early. The gates open at 5pm and running starts at 6pm. I wanted to get there by 6-7pm as its gets very busy later. I dont have anyone going and I wanted to get it on film-video... ??

 

Oh, silver dollar is about 2.5 hours away from me down past Macon, Ga in central Ga so it would be a haul for your guys from Huntsville.

Well the one a few miles from us is 1/8 mile. Steele is about an hour from Huntsville.
