Don is in NC at Deals Gap rotary rally this weekend. You should have went. Wish I was there also!! I am trying to go to the bridge street car show in the morning. If you go I will see ya there.

Waiting to here from Don his car got hit by hail pretty bad so I am guessing his car will be in the shop for a bit. So how many more passes did you make that night? I am going to start my clutch job this week so maybe I will be ready friday night. Let me know if you guys want to come out. I need some one to get some good pics and video of the car out of the hole. I am out of town the following week. Also going to Import Face Off May 31st if anyone wants to go. I have no chance but going anyway..LOL....

 

Hey dudes. Had a blast at DGRR. Beautiful weather, bad cars, and lots of rotorheads.
Big Ed's sounds cool to me. Post up a day and time (anytime after 6:30pm M-F). The 7 won't go into the shop till the garage is complete. Can't get it repaired to have the same thing happed again.
BTW Mike, I have your DGRR registration bag/T-shirt.

yea the rx3 has the 13bt in sitting in it. my brother just has to wire it. but good news is his finals are over next week so he has no excuse.

the first gens need a clutch and we have the NA 13b out of the rx3 to put into the new $75 1st gen lol

Go to the track.. My wifes grandma past the other night and she is still upset as they were close. She was 93! and still has 3 sisters alive, one 105 and twins 96! Thats some strong blood!!

So I do not think I will be going anywere car related till next weekend. I did get the jspec tranny and new clutch disk here. So I want to put that in asap. Track should be great tonight but very busy!

 

Next Friday as well. I've got so much I need to finish before Sunday. Hey Mike, did you check with your brother about the garage?

 

yeah. He said let him know. I can have him come by and look it over. He is good about giving advice and changes or how it would be best built.....

No... going to NC that weekend for my dads 75th b-day!! Besides they came back and said no wrinkle wall tires so that did it in for me..

 

man i tried the move the sliver 13b first gen and it wont start.. just spins.

all the times before this it would start no prob.


on another note. we pulled the motor out of our white street car miata and tore it down... i think ill take a rotary motor ANY day other a piston engine. but rebuilding... id imagine the piston engine would be easier less complex

 

ok never mind about the 13b. i pulled the leading plugs and sand blasted them, blew em out, applied anti seiz. put em in... and it started in the first hit.

 

saw a silver 1st gen getting a hooters car wash today???



Asked the wife about getting the sequia washed but she didnt go for it but the kids liked the idea!!!

 

haha women just dont get it.
