Waiting to change my password on RRDI.org, but to clarify... the Housewarming party is July 22nd, not June 22nd. It's at 2PM that Sunday.

The BBQ for the 4th of July will be after we all meet at the movies for Transformers... and we will just caravan back to our house. This will be the Garage-Warming Party.

 

7/7/7 is a PERFECT day for an RRDI event! Especially near the beach! You rock! I was one of the original event coordinators for the 7/7/07 Savannah event, but we're way too poor to do anything that far away now that we have this house. I will see if we can make it down to the beach, though. Sounds like fun!

We should start working on a thread closure post at RRDI.org for this thread. We could also have a Master yapping thread in RRDI.org; I think I like this one-thread-contains-mostly-everything format. Less will be missed that way on RRDI.org.

 

There is no event planned for that weekend, head over to the RRDI site for more details. We decided on the 21-22 of July.

 

Ok rotards. I started a thread in the "Jus' Chillin'" section. It's a running (hopefully) thread that ideally would be like this one. If there were to be anything that really needs to get specific, then I think we would post into another section but also alert the forum members that the specific details aren't included in the running thread. Do you guys think that we should also work on new colors and graphics for the site? No insult to Doug, but that Star Wars looking graphic under "Raleigh" in "Raleigh Rotary Drive In" just isn't cuttin' it with me. The colors need a little bit of overhauling too. I really like the light color scheme of RX7club.com in terms of the grays and blues. Anything further on this topic should probably be posted at RRDI.org in the thread I started. I also think that we should probably limit the number of different sections of the forum too.

 

I think I finally decided on my next set of wheels, haha. Work Emotion XD9 18X9 +45 front and 18X10+38 rear. SOMEDAY the car will run again too, haha.

July 21-22 is the weekend of our housewarming party, so that will be a fun weekend! Is the beach roadtrip just Saturday and everyone coming over to our house that Sunday? I'm a little confused.

 

Is this part okay with everyone, or did I miss a discussion at the meeting this past weekend?? What time are we meeting for Transformers?? I was thinking we would do a Matinee and then head to our house to grill out. Everyone bring a food item, etc.

I can't find any of this info on the rrdi.org section. The chat box only holds like 15 messages at a time... did I miss a discussion? We still don't have internet hooked up at our house, so it's hard to keep up with everyone right now.

 

Where can I find info about the verdict for tech days? Or have we not really reached a verdict yet? David and I will be working on the FC this coming week, once we get her to our house. Tonight we are rotating the SRT's tires... so our house will finally have some fun car stuff going on.

 

There is a transformers thread over there. Haven't worked out the logistics for that day yet.

 

I have to make sure I have work off that day, so I was trying to figure out the plan.
