I shouldn't be busting on you or Eric. With the **** I've put mine through the last 2 years I really should take some time and give my engine a damn good once over. It's been a few years and I wouldn't be surprised if I could use some hoses and who knows what else besides the usual upkeep I do. Seems like when I take time off it's for driving the car somewhere at some event and not maintenance.

 

haha, i hear that. honestly, i hardly even pop the hood now that i have the ls1. when the car is reliable you usually keep driving it til something breaks, then bitch about it. haha.

I think we just had a little bit of confusion as to which weekend the grillout was going to be. So once again, meet 9th at Sonic, cookout 10th at 1:00 pm at Falls Lake Park, this weekend, nothing. hey everyone! the group from camp lejune/jacksonville wants to go up to a raleigh meet soon. we were thinking mid-late july would be good. when do you guys want us to come, or when would be a good time?

 

Glad to get the meeting stuff straight, lol. We'll make a BBQ meet eventually Just not this one...well, I won't. Dunno what Stina has planned. We may be on the milk carton with Bobby and Eric for awhile with the house stuff. Oh yeah, to make it official for everyone...we closed on the house. We now own a 1300 sq ft house on 2.13 acres of land Lots of work ahead.

Damn I need to make it to more of their meets. I was going through a bunch of old pics my Dad has, and found one of me in a go kart when I was in HS, we were on vacation in Florida. I found several others that, we'll just say NO ONE will be seeing them now, haha.

I would say anytime is good, maybe you guys could make a cookout, I'm sure we'll do another one in July sometime. I think someone mentioned doing them monthly anyway. I'll be in Florida again for July 4th but I'll be around the rest of the month I believe.

 

well, i dont really know any of you guys up there or when you meet or anything, but if you guys just want to get a BBQ goin then give me a date and a time and ill get everybody down here organized and ready to go. BBQ or not we want to come!

I added information about the July 9th and 10th meets to the RRDI calendar. The only person to mention a specific location at Falls Lake was Gary, so I went with that . Google mapped that ho and everything .

gooooood morning pplz! wow... I haven't post-whored in a while. I miss you guys. Been super busy with work and the house junk. David has been on the forum more lately so he has updated me on what has been happening. I will be there for the cookout. I'm excited. Are we each going to bring a food item, or is one person getting everything and we're bringing $$ to reimburse them?

 

Bring whatever you want, we kinda have a sign up sheet. I'm gonna bring some extra things and see how it goes from there.

Oh Bobby it's okay, I just wanted to clarify it. Ya know people were getting the dates confused on the 8 forum too but, it's all straightened out now. We should have a good showing from the 8's...plus I'll be bringing mine now...can't tell ya how cuz it's not quite legal but you'll see when we get there!

 

Oh are us regulars gonna meet up somewhere before we head out? I'd like to drive in with you guys.
