i got 32 on the way back from the dragon averaging 83mph from asheville to raleigh.. wiht my fattys on. 3.43 rear end btw

yeah its a built 383 stroker with a 750cfm carb.. 450whp with a tall rear end and a 4spd..

but my dads 350 pickup wiht a 4spd od tranny and a low rear end.. 2.73 gets only about 18 mpg highway and 14 city.. thats with the funny electricly controlled carberator thingy it has taht i havent figured out yet.. so i figure that thing helps it alittle over a regular carbed motor. this motor also puts out a measly 250ish hp as well.

so im thinkin for a strong cammed 350 with like a 600 holley or 650 demon in a light FB.. should be around 2800lbs right? i think it should get somewhere in the 18-20 city if you can stay out of the gas.

4.10s on the FD. I am thinking of going to the 3.9 auto rear. apparantly you can pick up about 2mpg. which would kick me to about 29mpg, and i don't think i would lose a lot in the quarter(anything i lose on top end accel, i think i will make up off the line with the added traction). also it apparantly helps on the road course too(lets you stay in gear a little longer)

yeah alot of ppl with f-bodys run 4.10's... 390s seem like a good compromise as long as they are still as strong

Yeah he is supercharged. That was the group Joey tried to follow. Was a FD, FC, that holy mother... Me and the FD behind me filming me. Me and the Miata guy met up on a night run, passed each other. I got to the overlook and turned around and found him on the side of the road. Led him on a nice little run back to the crossroads. Really nice guy!
