lol, yea, i think if i ever did a rotary again it would be NA13b(in an FC) or 20B. Either way the engine would be yours. i was looking at those housings, it is a shame that my corner seals went, those housings are like new.

come again? then i laughed because i said come. no there is nothing wrong with the housings, the rotors, or any of that. what i am saying is had the seals not gone bad that engine had/has a lot of life left in it. very little wear on the housings, etc.

oh and of course you can look at them. you can also see a real engine while you are here. sorry. can't help myself. i know if i don't stop i am going to get banned. LOL

Andy-
I'm going to try to make it but I'm not sure, if I can get off work at a normal time I'll probably be there. I've been on the MSCCNC forums quite a bit lately, under my slave name Eric Jausel, lol.

Josh-
That's spectacular. I was worried I'd have to take the housings and plates somewhere to get the clearances done, which I'll probably still do. But I was worried they'd be bad and I'd have to get new ones or get these resurfaced. Yeah, I think you're close to being banned, HAHA. Phil pointed it out that hardly anyone that has an LS1 is on this forum anymore, haha. I wonder why! IT'S THE GOVERNMENT! Lol. I do wanna take a look at that engine too though.

Base on what I've gathered, this year's RBQ will be better then last year so come on down and have fun at the gathering. It'll be a fun event to enjoy Mazda fellowship.

We have a very strong and dedicate Mazda and Rotory crowd in NC so let's use this event to show our love and celebration for our car!!

After owning FD for last 2 years, I am deeply agree with what Technonovice said:
"Owning an FD/Rotory is an emotional thing. Logic is defied."

By the way, I look forward to meet some Raleigh Drive in members at Frankies on 8/4 evening. Hope some of you can make it. We usually heading down there around 9:30-10:00pmish.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...3&page=1&pp=15

This is the guy I bought the V-mount setup from, Atihun. This thing is amazing, all the work and money put into it, it just discourages me to no end

Check this out. I had to post it on the RRDI site since I didn't think this site would appreciate advertising another car magazine. Click on the link and then scroll down after you sign in:

I've read the article, how'd they do on the install process and overall evaluation on the results? Stuff like upgrading the fuel system for the new engine, using the camaro LS1 instead of the Corvette because of some of the add on parts and then reflashing the ECU with the Corvette programming, etc? Also how about the final evaluation on track. I guess the main thing you're getting with the GM engine is reliability over a heavily moded 13B.

Looks like to me the slightly moded FD3S is faster in the curves but the FDLS1 has the torque and speed advantage to come out of the turns quicker. You bringing up to VIR in December? It ought to be interesting

The reason we head out there late is to avoid younger crowd. Usually after 9:30pm, the crowd start to thin out which is a good thing as most of kids drive like bumper car and try to hit everything they see, that can be very frustrating when you try to race your friends.

Hope to see all of people who can make it there next Friday!!
