I'm down for whichever road, it really doesn't matter to me. Although the one with more sharp turns would tell me more about my bushings. And as long as Phil is close behind so he can feel the wrath on his nostrils...and eyes...ears perhaps too...all the senses I guess. Yeah, that'll work. 3:30 is good for me Gary.

That route is the one we ran when the porsche broke down. The one with Egypt mountain rd on it. (the road where he broke down) The difference between that route and the one we ran on sunday is the low speed sharp turns with elevation changes involved. We had some interesting turns on the run sunday, but the elevation pretty much stayed the same and most of the sharp turns were intersections. With the exception of the road right after greg tried to remake my rear bumper they were all pretty level.

If Phil is coming we DEFINITELY dont want to go the route we did this weekend. The best part of the whole run was on a road that was somewhat littered with gravel and he decided to pirouette his car on some dust three weeks ago. I imagine he'd get airborne on on the good part of this route.

Yeah I'd like something with more turns. I know that trip where the Porsche broke down had alot of gravel on it too, my windshield is screwed but it was FUN!

 

Berts route sounds good. I'd like to see how the 7 handles that compared with the Miata. I've never really pushed the car since I replaced the suspension last year, too afraid of driving it far due to leaking oil.

Burts route it is. Im pretty sure Ill be able to get the g/f to not freak out. I have to spend the day at her grandparents 60th anniversary sunday, so I am using it as a barganing chip.

(normally I wouldnt have to deal with her on such matters, but I was gone for 5 hours on sunday driving, and she has a lot of **** she needs to get done and I 'could' help with it. In either case im not handing in my man card yet)

I AM all about getting an Evo or STI so maybe I'm already getting rally practice in. I hate gravel on the road, almost as much as I hate Zero bars. I don't really like them. They make me want to puke.

 

Keep putting up a good fight. Don't hand in your nuggets yet.

 

Just think: When WRC starts making their drivers race using the rearview mirror you will be ahead of the game.

I kinda liked the gravel on the road on Bert's route that time, even though my windshield is peppered now and I think it freaked out Victor a little when all four wheels broke traction going around the corners into a downhill plunge, haha. But fill me in, what is a Zero bar? Unless you're talking about getting zero bars of boost, haha.

I picked these up from my buddy with the Lotus, they were so freakin' dirty, it took me 4 hrs to get them all cleaned up and ready for paint. I think I did a good job...I'll bring one out to the meet on Sat!
