Yep. I asked if we had anything going on and they said no, so unless Kim Jong Il or Hezbollah gets a hair up their asses, I'll be there.

Awesome, hope to see you there. Do you think you'll have the car done? What am I saying? You're calling when you get all the parts so I can help right? Haha.

ROFL. unfortunately that probably wont be until middle of august. if you wanna help you are more than welcome to. i plan on having all the peripheral stuff done by then, so i can just drop in the engine, and take her to the exhaust shop.

where are your wheels LOL?! you think you will have them in time for the RBQ? also, i might need to bum a ride

No problem on the ride, anytime bro. Yes I want to help with the car, so when you get the engine or if you need help with other stuff, let me know. Wheels...hmm. Haha. Last I heard they should be here about 10-12 Aug, so no I won't have them on by the RBQ but HOPEFULLY soon after (fingers crossed!), and I'm probably going to order some Dunlop SP Sport FM901 tires. Better deal than the Falkens I was looking at and the reviews are pretty good. DAMN I can't wait to get these wheels! Haha.

do those tires come in man sizes just messing with you. what size rear wheels are you gonna be running. i was just thinking that 265 might be too small if you are gonna be running a 10 or 10.5.

If you want a quality paint job at a good price check with Jeff Brown, Custom Paint and Bodyworks (919) 550-7409. He has painted a few cars of RRDI members and does great work. I don't know where you are but If you want a card just drop by an RRDI meet, we have one coming up this Saturday and I'll be glad to give you one.

What time is that starting?

You got your wheels on already Nic?
Hey Eric check out the info on these pages:
http://rrdi.krackedreality.ws/index....d=993&catid=11

and

https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/4th-saturday-rrdi-some-back-road-driving-coming-up-559774/
If an RX8 owner, who has been on TDY in Florida for a week, can find the information - I got to figure some one as resourceful and determined as an FD onwer ought to be able to get the info. Very dissapointed in you. ;0)

I am going out after I sign off and cruise the route and maybe find a few more curvey roads. It'll probably be a 15-20 mile circuit and we want to drive it before the DI so we can see where we're going and avoid as many deer as possible. Come up and join us for some nice driving. That's why we're called the Raleigh ROTARY DRIVE In.

Yeah the tires will be stretched a little. 1. to fit in the wheel well and 2. cause a thicker tire would look like crap on these wheels I think. Rishie told me to run anywhere from 235/40 to 255/35 on the front and 265/35 to 285/30 on the rear. I'll probably just wait to get the wheels and test fit them to see what it looks like first, to see what size tire I can run without having to roll the fender too much. I don't want to flare it, just fold the lip under.

Sorry for disappointing you Bert, I was too busy working on the FD, LOL. Honestly though, I usually just check the threads I've already posted in and leave it at that. Unless I'm bored at work, I don't normally venture too much finding new content, or unless it's something that catches my eye on the homepage. If you had first mentioned it here I would have been all over it cause I go back to the last time I posted or read what someone else posted and read from there. Mind you I haven't looked at EVERY page in this thread, but I've read alot of it, lol. I'll have to get on that first link at home, it's blocked here at work.

Just got back, I did see your posts over on the driving thread. I left a little after 3:00 and got home at 4:55 and didn't drive some of the route that I know well. I'll guess that we'll have a good solid hour of driving without a lot of back tracking unless we just want to drive some of the roads a second time, and I did find a lot more curvey asphalt so its gonna be a good challenging drive if traffic isn't too bad Saturday afternoon. Oh yeah there are several gas stations close to the circuit.

Won't the people be mad that we have the roadblocks set up? LOL. You think I'm joking, I'll pay off some farmers to put their tractors out there, lol. That sounds great though, I can't wait! It's good there are gas stations there too. Thanks Bert.
