Great pics, Greg. Hate I missed it. Working midnight shifts really sucks when it comes to doing other things. Glad you made it up.

I did get to see the Cars movie last Sunday, it is great, laughed all the way thru the movie. Great time, it would be a blast to go with a RRDI group. But go see the movie. Here are pics from the last couple of RRDIs.:

Here is the first firebird I've seen with a rotor under the hood:

He just got her for a $500 donation to the last owner's church,

Yeah, we want to know more. That's why the RRDI exists to give non SCCA people a place to hangout and enjoy their rotaries. Come check us out. The next Drive In is June 24, and it'll start about 6:00 PM and go until we think of something else to do. Some people get there early, some get there late, and some just don't make it at all, but its always a great time if you enjoy hanging with rotorheads, asking questions, answering questions and showing off your ride.

Hey gang, I wanted to let you know that I'll be running my FD along with another FD owner this weekend at Rockinham. Its a NASA event so its chocked full of cars on the track from HPDE's to fender to fender racing. There are some great back roads on the way there.

Info here:

^well, I sent an email to MPF asking how to reapply for the Army, so with any luck I'll be doing that instead. I sent it to the TSgt that told me my package didn't get approved, and it sent an out-of-office reply saying she was TDY and who to contact. So I sent an email to that person. OUT-OF-OFFICE TDY reply!! WTF!! So I sent an email to who THAT email said to contact and haven't gotten anything back yet so I guess I finally reached the right person. Either that or that A1C doesn't know how to set up his out-of-office reply option on his email, haha. Too bad we didn't make it though. You'll definitely see me at the next meet. I haven't seen Barb in two weeks, she went to work two Fridays ago and I haven't seen her since, so I guess we're not together anymore, and there's nothing to keep me from coming up, haha. Is anyone going to the race at Rockingham this weekend? I might not go if no one else does, but I'd like to see this. I'm thinking...ROAD TRIP!!!

Here's a short video (repost I think) from last fall I peiced together with some unconventional Beastie Boys audio.
http://theclient.hypermart.net/fortn...ockoct2005.mov

This will be the first event on the rebuild. I'm a little nervous about it, but worrying won't help a thing. I've also added coilovers. I'm still running street tires (Toyo T1-R) until I get a few more events behind me. I'll be in the track beaten black FD and my buddy will be in his Montego Blue. We have very similar set ups so I hope we'll be grouped together.

If you can't make it maybe I can post another video from this weekend.

I'm about to drop $1000 on my car guys.

I gotta send in the paypal for my Megasquirt standalone , and I already ordered the $270 wideband w/ pod, then I've got an intake on the way, and with all the other bullshit stuff like welding it will probably be up to $1000.

Goal is 200rwhp all motor. I suspect I will be able to do about 190 realistically with the s4 rotors and manifold.

Mike's place next weekend?

Well, I went to bed too late last night to make it to either Rockingham or VIR today, and I need to work on the car anyway. So, next weekend at the meet, are we going to Mike's place? If so, if there are any curvy roads on the way there, I think it would be in our best interest to take those roads

Ladies and Gentlemen, we might have another member to join the group. I was driving around my neighborhood yesterday and saw a TII with a Puerto Rico flag hanging from the rear-view, and considering how big rotaries are in PR, I figured this person would probably be into it for the same reason and not just cause it's "a cute car". Turns out, if it's the same person, he PMed me tonight asking where in Hope Mills I live, haha. Right down the street homie!!! Literally, RIGHT DOWN THE STREET! There's a guy a couple houses down with an FC too but he didn't seem interested, so...his loss. I'm siked though! I'm gonna see if he wants to follow me up next weekend, WOOHOO!!! Oh, he's in the Army btw.
