Speaking of rotaries coming back from the dead...

This Saturday we may see the return of my GSL-SE. If all goes well on Friday, that is.

Steve, I am not sure what that is. Give me a buzz, I may have it. I have some crap laying around. I will read through the manual to see what it would be and see if i have it. Sounds like something internal; if it is I won't have it.

Nevermind, you are probably talking about the internal spring. I don't have it unfortunately.

Just thought I would let y'all know today is a GORGEOUS day. Not that you haven't noticed... hope y'alls days are going wonderfully! ...And I hope your cars are just as fun as mine is with this warm weather... windows down, sunburn and new freckles on my left arm... fun stuff.

Turns out they took me off the schedule for Friday. So I STILL work Saturday. Argh. Too bad it wasn't the other way around... I refuse to miss the next meeting! It's the "down east" weekend, isn't it?

I really don't think so, I looked and called around a lot last summer and couldn't find any. I have 4 though if you need them, I think they're made for 3-1/4" ID.

BTW - Is anybody going to the Rotary Revolution this weekend. I was thinking about it wish classes finishing up and all. Its almost 10 hrs away though. Its either that or do my clutch swap if I can find anybody to help.

If I knew how, I would help you. If you know what you're doing, maybe you could show me, and I could help. I need to learn this stuff... grrr.

Well anybody is more than welcome to come help/watch as I do have access to a lift this friday and would love assistance. So if anybody wants to help out give me a PM or something because it looks like we'll be tackling it on our own.

Taylor, where are you going to be and what time are you going to start. I thought we might get Ashraf over to help. :0) I'll be there to lend muscle, wise cracks about FDs and anything else you need.

Christina, I never did hear how last weekend went, did you and Josh get some new brakes on the the barbed wire babe? Is it safe to drive? and most important R U gonna be at the Char Grill this Saturday, we're usually there 'til 9 pm?

I am pretty sure wake county does full emmissions, I don't think there is anywhere that does safety only. Then again I have been wrong before, and will surely be wrong again.

hah, no you're probably right. I'm just wondering if someone knows of any boondocks county around here does safety only. I remember seeing someone with an FD rolling around with a yellow safety only sticker over at capital a while back so I figured I'd ask.

...Yep. We changed the brake pads. They don't grab as quickly as I am used to, so I gotta learn how to downshift to slow down sooner. I don't want to wear these pads out too quickly. Hehe

I already said something about it a couple of pages ago... nobody ever listens to me!

Sorry, had to be a woman there for a second.

I can't make it saturday, I have to work... *sniff*

I'm getting old, I don't remember reading an update on your brake work. But then again I could've read it and just don't remember.

Hey Christina

Did you and Josh ever get your brake work done?

Hey Josh, your car still running? Will it make it out to the drive-in this Saturday?

And GnubberLang, come by the drive-In on Saturday and I'll let you know where to get your car inspected in Wake County. It is a great shop that can help you make the necessary adjustments to get your car to pass.

For those who haven't seen this video yet, it's well worth viewing. Long download however.

Lee, are you still going up to Fontana Village this weekend? Got your emails, thanks. I'll try and put all this to music and make a show one day soon.

Second the video review, I only got half of it but I don't have a high speed connection to download it at home. great job and I have ordered the DVD from golferfreddie. Hope it is as good as the video.
