Brett - That thing is gross, and has been on CL for sale for a while.
Mike - I tried to get the SA back on the road this week. I swapped the brae booster and I finally have power brakes again. Then when I set the ride height I realized I am sitting on the bump stops Now I have to pull my front suspension apart and cut them bump stops. At least this gives me an opportunity to do my LCA bushings and ball joints. The SA is doing to steer like new when it's back on the road.

And I was actually talking about you this weekend- Baer Schiffer stopped by my place Saturday and got a S4 MAF for his brother's Miata. We started talking and he was saying how he knows you and Seth and Billy and Crit... Small world. I didn't know him before hand, he just saw my parts ad on CL.

Donnie, keep after it. We need to see that SA back on the road.
Everytime I think I am going to start working on my car something comes up. But she is going up on the jack stands this week, if I have to guit my job to get started on it.

It's running great right now. I just need to get the suspension squared away. I ordered ball joints this morning and I have a set of Energy Suspension control arm bushings waiting to go in when I swap ball joints. If I can locate some 84-85 spindles for cheap, then I may also pull off the coil overs for now and through my Eibachs back on.
Unfortunately, working on the SA doesn't help me with my Alaska trip, which is priority number 1, so I am not working on it as much as I should be. After I overcome some major obstacles with the trip planning/prep, then I hope to give more attention to the SA and GSLSE.
Donnie, say hello to Sarah Palin for me while you're out there, would you?
She lives over on the west coast, about 20 miles from Russia. Great view, I'll google her zip code if you want.
If the 84/85 spindles are just the regular stock ones, I do believe I have an extra set or two around here somplace and am cleaning out the shed, so they're cheap this week.
Can't wait to see your SA and SE creations!

I found this 1985 for sale last week at Garmin's Auto Service in Lilburn. It has 51,925 miles on it and it has been in her garage. Nice! Like New. She's asking $9,000.00

Thanks for posting the pic Mike.
Why is it that even a mint GS has wilted upper door panels?
And I don't know about that gray interior, it kind of looks like a car that got flooded and covered with silt.
Red leather, now that's a $10,000 interior!

Tim the thing about the Beehive is that it's often not properly presented. But fundamentally, it's a thing of beauty. I'll show you what I mean when I get to that part.
Not like those ugly FMOC's, which were designed to be hidden.
As far as the superiority of FB interiors go, I will refer you to the 84/85 GSL, which is strictly First Class:

The White One II project is coming along fine, thanks. Here's some shots I took this evening.
I just need to bondo in the low spots, add a splash of paint, upgrade the suspension, switch the electrical from GS to GSL and install the interior. Mint Red Leather, of course.
Also need to put the 12A together. The rotors are still in boxes, but I found some nice housings:
The exhaust will be RB, of course:
Probably won't be ready for DGRR 2013, but maybe 2014. Which is before Donnie's gonna get his SA butt to an OGTA meeting.

Look at you, Ray! Now that's a parts hoard to be proud of. You're maturing into a true rotorhead
Haha, yeah yeah. I was at the March meet, but you were not. If I can get the SA back on the road soon, and my finals schedule doesn't interfere, then I will bring the SA to the May meet. Heck, it may be my last chance if I become a bear turd in Alaska

Donnie, don't take Ray to seriously. He doesn't actually come to OGTA meets any more. My guess is he is out nitroglycerin tablets and he's afraid the Shrinking Kilt girls might kill him. Remember what happend to My Boy Blue....
There is a strong resemblance Mike, I think you're right, GM stole the look from Flipper
About the OGTA attendance, if you guys awarded 12A points for SkyActiv technology and mint 1st gen parts, like 12A rotor housings, LE wheels and such, I'd take the trouble to show up and let you guys drool over them.
But the Powers That Be seem to be lost in the last Century, no 12A points for really cool stuff like LE wheels.
We need to get a little creative Wankeling in those Old Guys on the 12A Equivalency Board, they're starting to look and act like Republicans.
As far as the Shrinking Kilt ladies go, I'm not much interested, since I've got Cathy, better looking (especially in a kilt) and she can cook.
Donnie, if either you or you SA are at the May OGTA, I'll be there.
