Wow, so any update on Alex? Hope all is well and they caught the person.
170,000 miles. GS. Wrong color. Signs of rust. $300 max.
Has anybody heard anything about how Alex is doing? I've poked around but haven't come up with anything.
If anybody knows anything please let us know!
Thanks

It's a '76 rolling chassis, so no motor or trans yet. I gotta find one. I was considering throwing a TII in there, as I've seen in another post on here, and Billy said it's not too hard to get them to mount up, but I gotta see what I can find.
Anyone selling? Seeing as I haven't had eyes on the car yet, maybe Ray would like to provide some insight on anything else I should save up for?
Quad
P.S.- How many 12A's is my 4 worth?

Here's an update on Alex, from Alex's mom (used with permission):
Hi ray,
Alex is home and recovering. He doesn't have his phone back yet. If you would like to contact him you can call him on my cell phone at 816-813-3712.
He is very lucky that the bullet only broke his hip and that is his only injury to slow him down, which is also making it hard for him to drive his car. We are very thankful for everyone's prayers and I know Alex would love to hear from you. Feel free to contact him anytime.
He really appreciates everyone's concern. I think we was mostly upset about the gunshot was that he was wearing his new Mazda jacket that now has a bullet hole and blood on it.... Figures haha

Those floorboards remind me of a story.
Started with some of that wet late winter snow/slush up there in Massachusetts.
My old Peugeot 404 had similar floor board ventilation issues. My faithful dog Melon was sitting in the passenger seat when the slush hit.
You should have seen the look on her face.

I have an embarrassing floor board story. It involved a Chevy Nova that spent most of it's life in OH. I bought it for $300 to drive back and forth to work. Michelle was taking a friend to church who was wearing high heels. I think you can figure out he the rest.
A piece of galvanized steel duct work and a few sheet metal screws and the car was back on the road. The high heels did not make out so well. Oh well.

I have a 13b 4port original keg removed from my 77 repu for a rebuild that I have not done $300
Ran good but smoked. All accessories went on the 13b 6 port I put in.
I might also sell my lapped/nitrated R5 plates and mint 13b 4 port housings but not real sure yet.
