Thanks for the run down Crit and Mike. I had things come up this afternoon and never made it to the car. Also as you all can see I did not make it out for the OGTA spring revival. Next time.
Crit- Did the pics of the rocker and cowl areas come thru well enough to see what is needed?

Nice Photos Alex! Where'd you get that camera?
Here's the monthly report:
The 3-1-11 OGTA turnout was light but pleasant. Seven really nice FB's showed up, plus some newer tidbits to give a total of something like 7.875 12A equivalents, I think it was Holly said, or something like that.
Alex popped in from the other side of Atlanta in his SE
Check out the signage Alex brought
Greg the Younger took some time off from digging airplanes out of Florida swamps to bring his Del Horto over
Cory and Gene came in a car that used to be two other cars that they brought the last time
Ray's Silver One and Mike's Blue One both got a bath last weekend

Crit's SE looking pretty as ever
Dean has changed his Obama Special Harlequin paint job back to black
Some younger generation 7's showed up. Kristy's Pre-Pro and Holly's RX-9, which looks like it also got a good wash and shine lately
And some work got done. Here's Gene fixing the bowl vent on Mike's Nikki.

Nice to see the OGTA sign make an appearance. I guess it's getting warmed up for the Mitty.
Gene, great find on the bowl vent. The car has started on the first crank every time since. It seems more responsive too, which makes some sense since the fuel should be flowing better with the bowls not pressurized. If I understand what this vent does.
Crit thanks for identifying the leaking brake booster/hose. I'll try to have this fixed before the April meet.

Holy Toledo, what a deal. And that's for a Sumitomo made tire.
Cheapest I could find elsewhere was $190 at set and that's before shipping, tax and installation. And about half what I paid for the Kumho's I have on the Silver One now. At that price it's hard to say "I don't have the money".

Now I am really confused. Here is what my dizzy cap is marked like as compared to your description. 1981 Dizzy
center plug- L input
top plug- T input
left top plug- T2
left bottom plug-L2
Right top plug-T1
right lower plug- L1
As I see the cap, the leading is being fed to the carbon button and down thru the rotor. Then it travels out to to a post on each end.
The trailing input is feeding the top of the rotor where there are 4 posts.
When the pulley mark is lined up and the dizzy dimple is lined up and installed. I have 2 of the top posts on the rotor facing the passenger side and 2 facing the drivers side.
The lower legs are facing 1 towards the front and 1 to the rear of the car.
I will go snap some pics and post them if the above is unclear. I am absolutely stumped.
I am pretty confident that I took care of the intake leak and am now battling a timing issue.

Ah, you reminded me... The red FB your family has didn't happen to be parked at the North Springs Marta train station today did it? My mom rode the train there from the airport, and when I was driving around the parking lot lost I spotted a nice looking red FB and dropped and OGTA card. Just wondering, that's the only nice red one I know of...
Finally, BRAP BRAP!!!!

well thanks Sam for swinging up and lending a hand today. me and Jake worked on the old gal, then sam came up with a little wisdom, then before you knew it, ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!!! yes the rotary B2000 is alive i say!! what sucks is thar the carb is having some issues with the bridge, so im swapping it with my 600 holley. What really sucks is im gonna have to remove the front cover to repair a oil water hose looking leak lol. other than the engine getting flooded because of my carb, its a MEAN running engine. I moved it and after giving it close to half throttle, and over 500lbs of extra weight with the entire old drive train in the bed, it still doesnt like traction. Me and the old bridge are gunning for ya!!!! mohahahaha!!
Needs More Noise

Lets leave it at twisted tavern (Jeffereys) since everyone knows where it is at. Plus Kristy is just down the street from there when she leaves work.
Sound good?
