haha yeah blame the previous owner for that one :p. I didnt like it too much at first but its grown on me. Since I'm getting an FD soon I was wondering if anyone could gimme a list of some good shops in GA (if there are any) for me to take my rotary to. Cause as you may know FD's aren't always "reliable" plan on doing some mods to fix that of course and up the power a lil but I wanna take it to a reliable shop
Best one I know of it the Twisted Sister parking, first Tuesday of each month. All kinds of expert advice and minor repairs happen.

There have been a few on Atlanta CL just like that with no text and just an image with all of the text in it. I'm assuming that since there isn't any real text and just an image it's easier for them to scam... who knows.
Greg-the-Younger
Their estimate was for $1393, which replaces the rear quarter with a salvaged one for $150, repainting that, and repainting the rear top section where the Mazda and RX7 badges and 3rd brake light and keyhole are, replacing those 2 badges with new ones.
I'm assuming that if I remove some of the parts and reinstall them myself, as well as reuse the original badges, I might be able to put that money saved towards repainting the roof and sunroof. One, because it is slightly faded, and two, I don't want to see the burn line right there every time I get into the car.

Brett be careful how you setup the deal with the body shop. They may just say "We'll do it for the insurance estimate amount." and then you'll get into a fight with them when you do your portion of the work and then want to pay them less.
Ask me how I know.
Lots of rotors

I'm back from Hawaii. I was actually on Kauai, the most northern island. I highly recomend a visit to this place.
We went with 3 other couples. In addition to having a great time on Kauai, we got a bonus. All of our children were back here in GA stuck in a blizzard. It's about time I got one over on the kids. No offense to you OGTAs who had to endure the weather.
I checked the forum while I was there to see if I might find a local rotorhead (don't tell Michelle). Dave, I should have checked with you before I went to Hawaii. I couldn't even find any recent posts from someone in Hawaii. I did see an RX-8 two times, it may have been the same car.

Peter, that guy knows how to teach! Did you see the way he motivates and inspires those students? Very rare talent indeed. I'm taking notes on that dude's techniques.
Mike, got any photos of the coconuts?

Sold the FC. Unfortunately couldnt get the FD I was looking at. If you look at his newest post its about me basically lol. He didnt wanna take a check at all even if it was From a federal credit union and not me. honestly am I supposed to put the check under my pillow and hope It turns into cash. Thats not how secured car loans work :p
Stratos, this would seem to be the perfect occasion to take about $3000 of that cash and go out and buy a really nice FB. Pocket the other $7000 for a nice little profit.
FD's are nice but FB's are way better. Less money to buy, insure and repair = way fewer headaches and way more fun. 12As Rule.
Mike, I won't tell if you don't tell. Let's see the coconuts.

that check is no different than one u'd get from a loan company. go cash it then pay with the cash. and i agree, get an fb and turbo it. lighter weight would make it more fun than an fd.
