Hey guys just checking in. I got my hands full at the moment the whole front end is torn down. Tear down, rust bust, paint, reassemble... As soon as I get a break in the weather I need to drop the subframe to change the oil pan gasket and try to get the freaking steering box out. Man I wish I would have left that damn thing alone. Just awanted to check it out, clean/paint it, change the dope and adjust it out...what a PITA. Anybody pulled on with the motor in before. It looks like my biggest problems were the idler arm and the left ball joint. When I put it up on the jack stands I could wiggle the front passanger all around with nothing else moving...I took this thing up to 80 MPH???
See you guys Saturday but not in the SA. I will have to drive the Jeep to my first few of my OGTA meet as well but looking forward to meeting you all.

You are a bit behind man . Sony announced a few weeks ago GT5 was delayed again. Currently showing the 31st of december, but I don't think that's a real date. But no worries, it is definitely not the 2nd .

This one looks like it needs a home. I would like to have the aero kit off of this car...hint, hint.. Hope it goes to a good home. Talk about a parts car.

Theres another one that's been on there for a few days that I wish I had $800 for. It's an 83? and needs a coil and something else.

Check out what I found creepin around my house and finally caught today?

Say Hello to.... Rotor I think it's a girl, though... Oh well.

And on another note, we booted the roommates today. Long stupid story short, I may not make it to the Mazmart meet since I'll be shelling out an extra $200 for rent this month and I'd rather save the gas for the OGTA meet Tuesday...

Do you have a high-res shot of that, Tim? Looks like a nice wallpaper.

Decided to treat my baby to a day at the spa. Gave her a full wash. I even tried this convertible top cleaning product that also puts a UV protective treatment on the vynil (works well for cleaning, will have to get back to you on protection). I then busted out the claybar and some wax and rain-Xed all of the glass. A good vacuum on the interior was also done. The big thing though I that I also cleaned the door & trunk jams as well as the exposed sheet metal on the wheel wells and firewall of the engine bay.

Man that flat tow rig is scarey looking and no safety chains? Flat towed my lifted Jeep (4,000+ LbS) to the beach this past spring break. Atlanta- Hilton Head, averaged 15 MPG (21 is all the Volvo XC90 V8 ever gets) and cruised at 67 MPH, lighter on the way back in both trucks and ran 70. Running around with the doors off all week was worth every penny. The rig was a sight to be seen. Do the math and outside of buying the hitch it did not cost to much to take with me. I have not done much reading but I plan to tow the 7 to the mountains anytime we go. Drop the shaft and hook it up.

Hopefully our Tuesday meet will be a good one. A few new people should be showing up, including Bob. He has a 1st gen and Collin had originally told him about OGTA a year or so ago, when he had stopped at the Starbuck in Commerce. He will be driving up to Asheville, NC and is going to make it to his 1st OGTA meeting.

Also, Rick Engman may drive his 1st gen out too.

I'll be there excepting birthday present for my b-day on the 14th

Holly

Happy Birthday Holly! How old you getting to be these days? Old enough to be an Official Old Guy?

I need something for the Jeep top.

This is sounding ominous. Our boy blue with a spy video-camera. We will have to be on our best behavior at the meet tomorrow because we'll be watching it on the interweb on Wednesday.
