Wish I could have been there. Those hoods are interesting, not my cup of tea but to each his own. I missed that beautiful RX-3

 

Every time I look at that RX-3 I see new things I like about it. I think he's adding new stuff all the time. That hood is fantastic.



But the painted hoods are also really cool, I mean can you get more original?



I'm completely impressed and I'm thinking about doing something like that with the Silver One. I just need to imagine the right images in my mind first. I wish I'd taken close ups of the other two, hey Ben, Juno, Andrew et al, can you post up some photos?

looks like a great meet. i'm hoping to make one some day. what's up with those hoods? was it a mutual between those 3 cause i know it's not just a coincidence that 3 guys just decided to paint an image on their hoods. and i'm still keeping my fingers crossed that i find another 3. any of the sa/fb's have ported engines or r they all stock? and what's the 0-1-9, 12a count?

I know Collin, there's a button on there some place that turns it back on but I haven't been able to find it yet. The only way I can get flash pictures is to put it on the dual photo mode, one with, one without flash. But then I have to process twice as many photos, so I left it on automatic last night (except for that indoor pic)

Michael Holly may be able to come up with a 12A count for us, she's the only one who's Alzheimer's has not advanced far enough to count up that high.

Painting stuff on your hood started with red necks and stock car races back in the '50's. Painting the stuff those guys have on their hoods started last night. You guys must have some better pictures of them, post 'em up!
