The Gray Ghost has me worried
My car has recently become very difficult to start. It runs great once it starts, but just won't quite catch when I am trying to start from cold. Here is the scary part, if I give it a little ATF it fires right up. I don't think it is getting flooded. It cranks like it has compression, but just won't start. The last couple of times I just put in the ATF, crank it, and it starts. Once it is warn no problems starting. And it runs terrific once it is started. What do you guys think. I am fearing the worst.
Ray this may take more than laying on of hands. This may call for a good old fashion weekend long revival.

I like Dave's plan. A nice Sunday drive and meet up with good crossroads rotorheads. Com'on Ray get everyone fired up to drive up to Dave and Elizabeth's.
Stu, you should drive down and you and Brett should go to the SCCA races at Road Atlanta. Jim Downing is racing his 2 rotor C-sport this weekend. I have heard that 13B start up in the shop and Rick Engman had built the meanest sounding 2-rotor I have heard in a long time. Almost sounds like a 4-rotor. But, then again, it has been a little while since I have heard the 4-rotors.

As far as a Saturday road rally, I am good any time except 4/4, 5/23, and 5/30

Mike, welcome to my world. Sabine is a fantastic car with a not so fantastic problem. She'll refuse to start when the engine is cold...I mean REALLY refuse to start. If I manage to get her started and warm up the motor, she'll start fine-ish until there's no longer enough heat in the block to let it fire. Other than the massive lack of power, she runs nice and smooth. Rebuild!
