?Heh, noticed my car in your sig... lol
hey guys i need some helpz plz. i need to do a comp check on my t2. anyone have a free afternoon in the next day or two? one more thing, can anyone here tune a microtec?
I was free today actually... Next time I'll be pretty available is Friday morning before my class at 12.
^ Oh yeah Greg when are you gonna be free so we can run those compression checks and stuff? My days are pretty much packed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I'm usually free in the afternoons Wednesday to Friday and I'm off on the weekends until training ends in February.
its super easy. you can do one of two things, you can either turn the car over when i tell you to or you can look at the gauge for 3 even bounces and peak psi. easy cheesy. send me a text if you can help. lol
lol. I'm kinda busy tomorrow, but I should be free after 2pm when I get off work on Friday.
If you guys want, you can borrow my compression checker. It's for rotary engines so it'll display all three faces. I get out of class tomorrow around 8:45, so just send me a txt if you guys wanna borrow it.
It's not to difficult. Basically take off the top mount intercooler first.Unplugged the lines associated with the tb and upper intake manifold. And then the bolts associated with the upper intake manifold and you should be able to pull it up. The one line that gives me the most problems is the one that goes from the throttle body to the rear side housing. It's a pain in the butt to put back on lol. Once the upper intake manifold is out of the way there are a couple of bolts holding the secondary injector railing down. Make sure to get the o-rings for the injectors and gaskets (UIM) since the old ones on there might be old and rotten.
Anyone doing anything this weekend? I'm bored outta my mind... and tired of thinking of designs for my 7 damn it.. and does anyone know of a good air brusher that isn't gonna rape me on the price? cause I know a damn good one.. but I can't afford to have him do it..
WHat you have a rotary comp tester! WORD!!
I would love to be able to check my compression like every 2 months or so=D
