I drive the red s4 TII in the arlington area. Daily drive it and commute to UNF and St. Johns TC all the time.

What shop are you taking this car too? I wouldnt trust 1 single shop with my rotary. I hope your not taking it to the shop on atlantic that always has rx7's in front of it.

 

^ You mean Driving Force? I think Norm is the only one now who works on the rotaries and his work is suppose to be top notch (especially his large streetports), but you won't see your car for like 6 months to a year

Yes they claim norm is great!. But he still sucks in my book because i have never seen any of his cars outside the shop hahahah! And he has not prooved himself as a rotary builder. A lot of people say a bunch of BS about him having a 900+ hp 7 and another 7 thats the fastest on the street in jacksonville. Well its been a few years and i havent seen ONE of them. SO stay away from those idiots.

The best rotary builder i know around here are puerto rican crackheads. ANd they are not trust worthy. BUt he sure made a starlet 12a n/aBP run 7.4 in the 1/8 mile. Damn ricans

 

i have an engine built by norman. it is barely broken in but im going to wait until i upgrade the secondaries before i can push it. im just glad to have the 7 running again and hopefully will a good while.

btw, anyone on here with a S4 GXL w/ TII hood? that charcoal gray color. i spotted you at adventure landing on beach today.

I own the red FD with black stripes, I have all the software for the PowerFC and a wideband O2 for tunning for those that are intrested, I think I do a pretty good job, jusk ask the people I beat, lol or Driven Impulse (did you get that stain out yet, lol)

Try not to bash Norm too much , most of the horror stories you hear from driving force is not his fault. He built my motor and it runs great. Ive seen the other motors he has build and they all are professionally done. Its all about how you assemble everything and how you tune your engine.

^ I think you're talking about the shop on Beach, and yeah he still has the Starlet and he has 400+hp 10th AE that was built by Norm which he's had for a year or two. But you're also right, it doesn't change the fact that Norm does take forever

Norm uses those super seals from RA. A lot of other builders dont like those apex seals.
If his engines are so freaking good why havent i seen one single fast 7 in town. I mean you would think there would be all kinds of 7's running around super realiably.

LIke I said before the best builder in town are Alex n YoSolo. Alex built a white 88 TII That ran 6.80 in the 1/8. Engine was a small/medium street port, stock top mount,2x720cc, FPR only(no EMS), MSD, aT 15 PSI.n M/T's SOme of you might remember the white fc from jax raceways about 5 years ago.
