We still having the meet up in Mooresville tomorrow? 1 p.m. at the Burger King
on Wiliamson road? I'll be there if anyone wants to hang a bit and get a burger.
Its going to a bit chilly but the Sun will be out and hopefully the wind will die down.

I just got back from the Charlotte Cars and Coffee event. Pretty good showing for
a cold Feb. I'll post some pics later.

I see Mr. Murphy paid you a visit on your PathFinder. At least you caught it before it
could have caused any severe damage to the valves or anything (if thats possible
on that motor).

Well I plan on going to it everytime from now on, so just show up. I parked with the
american big iron at first and one guy says to me "Is that a 240Z?" Thats when I
knew I needed to move the car. So I moved over by a mini and a 56 porsche
speedster and next thing I know I'm surrounded by Ferraris. Good company but not
in the same ballpark as an rx7

One other rx7 showed, it was a MB FD. He's a member on here and he will come out
next time too. Also Reese from down in Columbia SC was going to show but he
canceled due to a last minute work schedule change. I suspect he will make it to
the next one if he can.

The red and black combo doesn't look bad. But Josh knows how I feel about painting housings. Never less, I can't wait untill you post up a video of it running

BTW, Manny I am bidding on another set of injectors for ya, but check out this thread. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-rx-7-1986-1992-parts-194/some-fc-parts-sale-987410/

WTF!! i never understand your posts manny lol. The ol' FB is running strong. The only issue is the stage 2 clutch isnt doing so well. apparently the bridge + lightweight flywheel = slippy slip. Gonna have to upgrade soon I guess lol. The ol' gal is making me proud. A blip of the throttle today in this mucky weather had me giggling like a school girl. Think I wasted a quarter Tank playing.

speaking of giggling like a school girl... ITS ALIVE!!!!!

the culprit: bad dizzy.

Josh had mentioned something about the dizzy going bad before that meet last month, so after i made sure i had compression, spark, and fuel this time i went to mom and dad's and picked up my old dizzy that was working great when i took it off. put it on and ... nothing.

so i got pissed let it sit for a few days, decided to mess with it today and still nothing. looked inside the old dizzy, looked a bit rusty but not bad and i was so pissed i figured i'd spray some pb blaster in the dizzy for ***** and giggles, i figured "it can't hurt it any worse"

after a few tries and messing around with timing i got it to crank at 1 tooth advanced but it had a bit of knock, so after it warmed up i shut it off, set the timing back to stock and it fired right up! i guess that pb blaster loosened up the 3 year rust build up in that old dizzy

now, i don't know why it happened because i never pull hard on my doors, but my door handle broke, so if anyone's got a spare, or has time to go to the pull apart could you get that for me? lol.
