looking good LONG!!! well I decided to get back into what I enjoyed before, buying and selling cars. I picked up this little jewel today. 1999 toyota camry. not a bad deal for 300 bucks








It has a bottom end knock, but I found four good bottom ends at pull a part. So this one should be a good find

I talked to Rick (owner of Melson's Auto Parts in Troutman) who has the '83LE about coming out Sunday. He said that he would try to make it. Hopefully we will have a good showing of the RX7s

I know that this is a little late to mention this, but if anyone has a Serial to USB adapter cable (with driver software) that you could bring, I would appreciate it.

Sam, I found the drivers you need. All you need to do is go to this site. It turns your usb slot into a virtual com port. So your computer and the device your hooking up will think it is a com port. The instructions and everything should be on the site but if you have any trouble just give me a shout.

Find the windows versions. Windows go all the way to the right under the comments section where it says available as setup executable. Click "Setup Exicutable" The first time i tried it, it didnt work maybe because i only waited 30 seconds. Anyways the second time I installed it a dos window poped up and it showed it installing the drivers. Let me know if it works Sam. If not ill find another program/driver.

 

Doug. I tried that software with no luck. I figure we will just have to buy a cable with its own software.

Well thanks to sam, I now have a rev limiter. After about 30 minutes of him walking me through the setup, I got it nailed down. definatly nice to know I wont me destroying the old bridge anytime soon now lol
