Sooo, my rx7 is back on the road and running smoothly on 11 psi. So i got bored at work and took the old girl apart and before i could even pull the turbo off i found the problem, once i took the heat shield off i could see the wastegate shaft that runs to the flapperdoor, the clip for the flapper door had come off causing the wastegate to bounce around when under boost. reattached the wastegate actuator and install ed a new E clip a poof my turbo is alive. no more creep , scrapping noises or anything shes running great!

Hate to hear you had to sell the SE, but you never know what the future holds. You might get the car back, then again you might find something better

Pressure sensor

Hey guys I have a stupid question here but I need help.
What exactly does the pressure sensor do. the one attached to the passenger side shock tower.
My check engine light blinks on and off at about half to 3/4 throttle and it doesnt always do it. Seein how a new pressure sensor is like $300 I want to know if its anything I should be concerened about.

Sorry I missed you yesterday Long. Happy birthday and congratulations.

The weather Sunday is supposed to be clear and sunny with a high of 37*. The FB will love the cool air, but I won't

Guys, I want to thank all of you who came out today. Cory, I believe you had just as much fun riding in the FB as I did driving it, even though I was only running 7psi I came home and swapped in the wastegate spring that Long brought me, and holy hell. I think once or twice I saw 19psi! Scary as hell breaking sideways in 3rd gear.

nice little meet guys. it was awesome getting to drive the rx7 for a little while atleast. as i drove to the meet i decided to take 115 instead of the straight shot on i-77 and man i'm glad. the car handled so good, i remembered why i love it but now i'm back to the camry and the rx7 is sitting outside collecting snow waiting for next month .

anyways as i told some of you a guy i met a while back just bought a vert and wants to sell his 81. so here's the link: http://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/cto/2092052481.html
