That's pretty cool!

I finished up the PP housings for Long today. Happy little boy

I'll get some pics up later. Manny also came by and I took him a ride in the FB. I think he approves. The new 44MM external wastegaste is freakin awsome!!! Good god the turbo FB sounds so nasty!! It spools so much harder now. I can't believe the few little mods that I have done recently have made so much of a differance.

Sounds a little laggy but pretty nasty nonetheless! Are you running all of this with the rtek 1.7?

Laggy? First off, I do not flat foot my car in first. The last three times I did, I twisted the spur gear off the input shaft But, for your question, yes Anthony, I am still running the R-Tek 1.7. AFR's stay about 12.5 to 12.9 in a full pull any gear at 15 psi. If I want to climb over the 15 psi mark, I am going standalone.

But on to other things. The PP housings are done. I didn't open the exhaust ports as large as I would have normally. But, I think these will be sufficiant.....

sam, car and port both are looking good.

it's also sad how rotaries get a bad rep. but yet i get one silly spark plug miss-firing on the camry and you can't even run the car to the parts store. all is well, replaced plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and its running fine once again. somewhere along the line some owner decided that electrical tape and glue was a good permanent fix for a broken ignition wire with rust at the terminals

on a bragging note, i guess i should be getting close to 40 mpg now? i was getting about 35 mpg with old plugs and fubar'd wires. either way i'm liking this mpg better

I swear. Freakin transmissions. The remains of the last couple of transmissions that I have destroyed have been put together for the last time. I guess I'll have to swipe one more NA trans. to keep me rollin for a while. I know that I'll have to turn the boost down for while The remains of these transmissions have went their limit. I'll be on the hunt for a TII trans. I'll just have to bite the bullet and do the swap.

Thanks Manny, and thank you Long for going to Pull-A-Part with me Friday. We took a chance on the two FBs that were down there. To my shocking surprise, the '85 GSL that was there only had a little over 16K miles on it and the drivetrain was still there. I could believe it when I pulled the drain plug and the oil still looked new. I also snagged the flawless looking rear view mirror and the power antenna. All together I spent a tick over $80 bucks for everything. The trans shift so freakin smooth, it's almost unbelievable. The 'ol girl is so happy

And Kory, we are planning on the meet still being at the same Bat time, same Bat channel.

glad to see ur back up and rolling again sam. if u haven't checked lately, the dude with the 13b-rew nova popped it. i've been reading in the link he posted in the other rotary section and all the opinions of others as to what caused it to go. maybe u might have some idea others haven't though of? i'm just curious as to what u, long, or anyone else here with turbo experience thought caused it.

Thanks alot guys (and gal) who decided to not let a little bad weather hold them back from coming out today. Chris, it was a pleasure meeting you, and another pleasure that you brought another vert into the fold.

I mentioned at the meet that Manny brought to my attention that there was a G1 Autobot that was a first gen RX7. The messed up part was his name was Camshaft. Now isn't that hilarious!!! Anywho, meet Camshaft
