lol nah limon up
well sam came back over this morning and we got the timing issues sorted out. we set it at 25degrees advance. took it out and had an injector ground out and flood the rear rotor "woohoo". ran out of gas due to this, so went to get a can full and finally after all that it barks 3rd at 70mph with an 8lb flywheel. yes it was on a wet road but its never done it before so im happy. cant wait to get a real flywheel in it so i can get some launch out of it. we ended up advancing the timing a bit more and it really woke it up so we will see how it goes. so far i am nothing but more impressed with it.

Any of you ever used Statesville Radiator to do a radiator resto and/or a gas tank resto?
How much do they charge normally for these things?
I used them for a quick fix a few weeks ago on a jeep radiator but now I want to have
my SA radiator completely redone and the gas tank as well.

Thanks Sam. I had him patch a small hole on my neices Jeep radiator
for real cheap. He did a great job and exceeded my expectations.
I was just wondering what he has charged in the past for a complete
strip/repair/repaint on a radiator or/and gas tank. Just ball park would be
good.
I know any repairs drive up the price but if its more than 50% of a
new radiator I might change direction.

Hey Sam, I've been doing some calculations here and there and ran into this link https://www.rx7club.com/auxiliary-injection-173/feeding-turbo-rotary-horsepower-airflow-fuels-882676/. To make 300 rwhp which is probably where you are, your turbo has to flow at least 40 lb/min and would require 2550 cc/min of fuel for a 11.0 AFR. A 550cc and 720cc injector set up at max will only flow 2540 cc/min so in the case the ambient temperatures start to increase outside things will get pretty hot inside your motor, I would just be cautious of that.
I came across this while trying to find out why my AFR's were so lean, either my turbo is flowing more than I expected or my purchased 720cc injectors aren't flowing like they should, either way these rotaries consume so much fuel to make power it's ridiculous..... a little bit of water/meth never hurt nobody tho

Go with the darker rims. I don't want to burst your bubble, but with a 0 offset on a SE you will have to run some really short tires or they will rub the fenders. If you have any questions about what tire size you can get by with, pm workinprogress80. He went with a 0 offset also.

They would rub just barely on hard bumps but no other times.
