Yeah the exhaust template worked great. I traced a copy onto the AL I have here and will cut it out this week. That way there is still a flat one to scan, I couldn't resist tracing it out so I jigged it up. We are going to have one of the biggest gatherings of bridgy's in the tri-state area probably.. should be a nice orchestra when they are all braaping in harmony.....oh god, I need a napkin....

 

My compressor kicked on a minute ago and all I heard was a very loud BANG,CRASH!!! I just thought to myself,.. That couldn't have been my center Iron that just fell off it could it?.......

Yep;( Filler neck is snapped off and I haven't inspected the rest tonight. Hopefully it did not crack anything. Hopipng the cast iron is stronger than my garage floor...

It's all good. You think I would just give out a template and not have a back up? I got the exhaust port scanned and on my computer. I think I will start collecting port templates now, out of boredom.

 

Dave, I don't have a header but a stock 13B NA manifold. If that will work for ya, I can can bring it to the meet this Sunday. I hope Long doesn't think he's going to get the upper hand on me. I may not be able to right now, but another brapmobile is going to be put together. This one will be a 13BBPT

Such small PPs though! Also, Suzuki no longer makes the spark plugs that will fit that housing. In order to get new plugs (if they have no more in stock) you have to tap the housing This does mean a rebuild.

I have tapped plug holes in motorcyclr heads before without removing the heads. You must coat the tap with grease and be VERY carefull not to drop the shavings into the engine. If you do you have to snag them with a grease covered screwdriver or flexy grabber tool that I have.

I want the one for sale that has the R1 front and rear end on it. I would love to finish that project. Maybe a small turbo on it to add to the mix
