Well damn. Long won't be able to make it. He did get the rear end fixed, but granaded the engine today. This sucks. I guess I'll be the only one to show today. I'm glad to see that I'm the only one who seems to give a crap............

obviously i couldn't make it :P got too much **** to do, and not enough cash.

i'm surprised the engine lasted him that long lol, he told me he was gonna try to push 18lbs or something like that, and that he had another engine project for it . . .
oh well, **** happens, as long as he had fun doing it lol.

 

Meet was great! Hot dogs tasted good, and its awesome that the lady wasn't afraid to give us some extra chili.

We had 9 cars today. The Iron *** award goes to Kevin, as I think he drove the furtherest to get here (far side of charlotte).

Great meet today, sorry i didnt itro my mom she had a blast too...so on the way home was doin some testing on 77 and bumped into the guy i got my 7 from...turned out one:my wastegate has been ported and two:my creep in my turbo was caused by my boost controller improperly installed, disconnected it and no more boost creep and vaccum is back to 16 or 17 but my boost went from 12 or 13 with creep to about 9 or 10 with no creep or boost loss so i think im gonna follow in the foot steps of sam and add on a manual boost controller under the hood so i can "set it..and...forget it"! ha ha how hard are those to install do you just run it in between your vaccum line to your wastegate?

 

Looks like you guys had a decent turnout. I did not go since I saw many on the forum stating they could not make it. I guess I should have taken a chance and drove up Maybe I'll get to Meet some of you @ the Autocross next weekend.Great pictures!!!!

Looks like a great meet and I see someone else has a bra on their 7 Sorry I missed it but I have a large project going at the house at the moment. This is the first meet I've missed in a long time.

aspirao, just because some of us say we can't make it, doesn't mean the meets not happening. We have an average turnout of around 8 to 9 cars each event and sometimes close to 20. If everyone decided not to show because a few us couldn't we would never have a meet Don't be shy, come on up.

Stu I see you picked up those wheels. Polish the lip and make the centers black.

hmmm..... a sled....... lol. I wish i could have been there guys, i finally got my rear seal replaced and the drive shaft issue worked out so im as happy as a jun bug in the spring. im in the middle of piecing together a project, that will be completed in the next 5 weeks or so..... hehehe.......
