Well guys I'm getting there!!!! All I have left to sand,prime and smooth is the rear driver's side quarter panel, and the 87 TII wing. Then she'll be ready fot the paint booth. Incase anyone is wondering I'm going with a pearl black. I'll be in Emerald Isle Saturday morning around 10 to 10:30. Hope to see you all there. Wish I knew how many are coming though.

Or should I say Cape Cartaret? technically Golfin Dolphin is there but just a short hop over to EI.

 

Tony, I'm gonna have to stay home this weekend, the motor in my truck just crapped on me, so I'll be pulling the 360 from the Celica and put it in the truck. Any word on the other cars you were looking at? Since the Celica is going to be dead now I guess I will start pumping all of my money and time into an FC with a 388ci TPI IROC engine and tranny. I've been wanting to build another Vet&Viper killer so it's time to get serious.

 

i just thought about something, there is wonderful dessert shop behind michaelangelos...just some FOOD for thought.

well...looks like I cant come. My grandpa is coming down for the weekend and my mom said I cant leave the house. and she threw in that "you're still grounded too" line. I guess I'll just put the clutch in my car. I hope you guys have a good meet. I'll be at the next one

ME ME im going! i just got my apexi intake on today, so if my hood ever gets popped there is somethign that isnt stock under it!!!! And according to my a/f gauge im still running rich at WOT, boost didnt go up either. thats about it, see you guys there, im in for the seafood fest!

as of now who else is rocking an FD?

(on a side note a guy at advanced thought my car had a blown piston) maybe its a cracked seal or soemthing as it idles too low and its bumpy. maybe one of you guys can help me.

 

Stephen I beleive there are a few FD's coming. Your idle may be a idle sensor or something easy like that. So you got your intake on? Where is everyone else who has posted up on coming?

Well, for all of you who missed it, the three of us who were there had a blast (except Stephen's door incident). I bought lunch for all who came, so see what ya'll missed. We'll start working on another date soon, and try to get more of a turnout. Next time we'll pick a month and let everyone vote on a date to get the most people as possible. And location will be determined by a vote also.

 

Glad it was a success....me and George will definetly be there next time. My car is in pieces in the driveway. It's up on blocks, the transmission and driveshaft is sitting next to it, the exhaust is inside the garage. The shattered clutch disc is underneathe the car, the new clutch is in the garage.

She's gonna haul when she gets back together. My cat is gutted and she's gonna shoot flames

yeah tony bought us all steaks, he was like since nobody came lets just hit up rucker johns. After that we all had some insanely good cheesecake, yall really missed out. Except for those damn old people who banged the side of my car with their door when i was 3 feet away, i didnt even realize it until tony said they just hit your car. needless to say it was fun and lunch was awesome.

I still don't see how you didn't know that old dude dinged your door. I still can't get over that. Ding nothin, took the paint off. Let me know what the estimate is on the damage, remember I'm a witness if their insurance company wants to play games with you.

 

i really dont know how i didnt realize it, maybe it was ones of those things that i wanted to believe it didnt happen when it really did. kinda like when that vette rolled up and i thought it was an FD for a second. i think my mind just wanted to believe certiain things and ddnt pay much attention to reality. we are getting some quotes tomorrow and then are gonnna give the old people a call. i cant belive they tried to deny it at first. ill let you know what goes on with it.

want to hear some stupid ****? i tore outeh transmission of my truck friday morning to put ina new clutch and didn;t get it done. no biggie. till the next morning, the day of the meet, when i went to start my car and it was dead. fuel pump is dead.

and o yeah. i got the day off from work!!!!!!!!!

Me and my Dad spent all weekend putting in my clutch. I'm joyriding after school today enjoying my FC, which is running incredible....and my clutch locks up, I'm stuck in neutral, at a stop light. I got it pushed into a parking lot, it's not the hydraulics, its something inside the transmission....so we get to take the transmission out again. [sarcasm] YAY! [/sarcasm] and I dont get to drive my car for God knows how long. Maybe she'll be fixed by the next meet.
