well you should probably STOP driving it, overheating will severly damage the engine and then youll be buying a whole new block not just a fan. so step one? stop driving it, i dont care if its your only car.

second, testing a sensor isnt gonna help if the fan is dead, wire it to battery and check it, if that doesnt work then you need a new fan, if it does work then you need to look else where. your fans are controlled by the ECU depending on engine temps, so you need to take that into account and then check to make sure that its operating right.

third, if your fans DO work, for now? i suggest you wire them to a switch in the cabin, that way when engine temps rise you flick the fans on atleast that way your not roasting your engine to death.

I'm having problems with my buick's fan not running the relay are good as are the fans.. You think if I changed the thermostat that would maybe help or is it not controlled by it?

Anyway I'm looking for a dash, preferably free. I think I may make a few parts from it. I figure Josh would be my man. Since he has/had a shell or two going to the scrapyard.

had to replace both heater core hoses today, what a pain in the ***.. and i believe advance auto parts deserves the title...."shityest auto parts retailer EVER." they gave me the wrong inlet hose TWICE. they also gave me the wrong brake calipers twice a few months ago.

My car is on the street now. Looking forward to the next meet, or even the next trip to the dragon.

did you bleed them right? not trying to be a dick but people usually just bleed the master and not at the calipers
