Alright, i ******* HATE ******** with big "redneck" trucks.. they should all just been a late night snack for mom.

when will they get the point, not to ride my ***, when A my car is already fucked up in the rear!
and B when i can just slip to 4th and put 50ft on me and them like SMACK...
THEN THEY STILL RIDE YOUR ***!
EVEN WHEN THEY CAN PASS YOU IN THE RIGHT IF THEY WISHED!
but no... hes up my ***..i mean.. CANT SEE HIS HEAD LIGHTS.

so i just down shift to 3rd, from 5th, doing 60.......
and i go nuts..
then i look back, and see, that this big "redneck" truck.. has 2 cops up his ***!

god i love 411 in the afternoons..

i got over.. quickly...

the cops gave me a dirty look when they passed..

-shrugs-
opps, damn stereo.. -grin-
and i thought a redneck was just being a *******...

haha +1 for hating of the redneck trucks. Though i woulda stayed put. Both cops should have gone around you if they had the space, lest they were chasing said truck.

Looks like the majority of folks in here are in the knoxville area. Im in johnson city and just laid the deposit on my 2nd FD. Hopefully have it in a matter of weeks if all goes well the next few days and the shippers get on the ball.

The answer is quite simple, in order to get the fd, i would have had to allowed the tractor-trailer to quite literally remove the front end off the T2....

2nd? As in a spare? Nice work. Where is it shipping from?

Derrick, you know insurance doesn't work that way... you would've ended up in a Cavalier and your insurance agent would buy the FD.

I have to go to the hospital in Kingsport a lot. I once saw a FB at the hospital.. The guy getting out of the car had a broke arm. I think it was a red FB if that helps. This was like last spring when I saw the guy.

Hey guys I am not much of a poster mainly just reed about stuff. I live over close to bearden middle school, and drive the blue fb with the koseis. I finally figured out how to shrink pics so here is just some preliminary pics. The white car is one I found at moons, and snaged the front end and the wing. I still don't know if I want to stray from the classic look. I have had the blue car for about 4 years, and have done extensive work on it. Just to list the big ones: lsd/disc rear swap, streetported engine, mikuni carb that I just rebuilt, holly blue fuel pump(new), pacesetter header, rb muff, mighty mufler mid, 15" kosei wheels, rb springs, tokico illumina shocks, and of course all the restoration parts, bearings, seals, rad, hoses, lights, and still more to go. I put the sunroof in it from a different car, and welded it in. I painted it myself with an oldtimer in a barn with akrilic enamel, and it kind of sucks. I also have a tendency to drift everywhere I go. LOL I am in the process of redoing the interior right now. I need to paint it again soon, esp if I decide to put the front on it. Anywho hope I can get to the next meet, but for now I am going snow drifting

give me a shout if you need parts I have had three 1st gen cars at one time or another and have tons of parts 8 6 5 - 6 0 3 - 0 7 0 2

Eh, I have a few friends that have been screwed by insurance companies and I've been sued myself so I tend not to trust them.

Hey Prelude, I've run into you a couple times back when I had my 3rd gen Supra. Good luck with the snow drifting, there isn't any on the roads out here. It's just wet but I'm hoping it'll freeze over and stick to the roads tonight incase I want to take a drive.

haha I finally learned the timing to do a 360. LOL
It is all about when you lock up the front brakes, and geting the wheel back around, and geting in the right gear. It helps to learn on a really slick surface. I need more power before I can do it on the dry.

Well.. Hellbent1stN2ndownr, did you get that vert parts car or not? Becuase I definately need a passenger electric mirror. My car's e-brake decided to let go (my dad says I left it down) and roll across the road and barely (probably maybe a millimetre away from taking out the drivers mirror) miss a telephone pole almost hit the neighbor's truck and roll through my yard and hit the tree with the pass mirror then bounce off the tree with the tire and come to a stop at my doorway. none of the body was even touched only the mirror and tire. The wheel is fine AFAIK. So yeah one (perferibly red) s5 mirror.
