I think it's just destined that I can't ever go.. The first meet I was too tired to drive, the second getting arrested, and now I'm sick getting over being sick and going through pink eye and my ears and throat hurt. Hopefully before the next meet I'll be better and hopefully it'll get warmer so I can work on my car some and maybe get a radiator.

Hm.. I'm going to make a thread in the 2nd gen forum but I've been having this weird problem.. and sound. Anyway, while driving I can hear a air leaking sounds like a fssshhhh.. it matches the revs pretty well. I thought nothing of it since I have an exhaust leak.. between the manifold and precat. I figured that's what the sound was. Well so anyway today.. While coming home I figured I better redline it once since I mostly only drive shorter distances. Since I couldn't speed to revline I figured I'd just do it in first. So here goes.. zoom.. at goes decently strong all the way up to 7800-7900 rpms and it just stops there that fssh sound is louder and still sounding like absolute crap. but I couldn't get it to redline or buzz until I let off it. then I get a little buzz.

Also I noticed friday night that my voltmeter was only showing 12 instead of 14.. Granted my belts are bad.. it all still turns. Could the belts slipping be my sound and explain my power loss on hills and why I couldn't redline? After tonight it's reading 14 again? so maybe the belt warmed up and started turning the alt better?

Hmm, im going to say S5 gauge clusters are absolute crap. If you want to redline without speeding just put it in neutral and do it before you shut it down at night. But yes, a change of belts would be nice since radiator goo all over them is no good. Ill be needing a readiator soon enough...dont want to trust plastic to 300+hp i hope in teh future.

But that still doesn't explain with I couldn't get over 7800 in first I have plently of other times and this time it didn't.. I pushed the throttle even more to see if it just needed more throttle and still no go.. just a different tone and whatnot.

Never had any work done by the guy but I have sold him a car or 2, seems like a fairly knowledgable person I guess. Maybe some one on here can rep for him, I dunno.

Damn it I'm tired... I think I slept a total of 6 hours this weekend. I'll see about getting some pics up tomorrow. Yeti, it sounds like your catalytic converter could be getting clogged. Happens all the time since our cars eat exhaust systems like candy.

I saw a red FD sitting at Baptist hospital on my way by Thursday (maybe Wednesday, I don't remember). It looked stock. Was it you Freddie?

He rebuilt my engine and it's running good. I've seen nothing but good remarks from people on this forum. However, I don't think he does tuning. You can contact him and see though.

air cooled classics off dutchtown rd (dynojet)
LNS motorsports on parkside (mustang dyno)

both are good but the dynojet will result in higher numbers...

Well I hope all it is is my cat clogged.. I checked my TPS today via light method and it's set right.. (still doesn't explain code 12 and 18). I looked for some vacuum leaks since it's an air sound I hear. I guess now I'll be getting getting either the downpipe and precat from racing beat or the setup from rx-7.com.

I noticed something today though.. the air leak sound only happens (to my knowledge) above 3500 and going up an upgrade.

Oh yeah and according to http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/idle.html my BAC or Air Supply Valve is broke.. becuase how I get my idle to drop from 1500 to 750 I just turn the wheel all the way to the left or right.
