I'm sleepy. I'll check that out tomorrow. Also I'm noticing the gasoline resevoir is almost empty. I keep putting more in but everytime I drive the car it just runs back out. Crazy thing.

Well that's not a good sign. Where did you order it from?

hmm, i work for fedex ground, what i know is that is hella late for a drop off, most vans get back to the terminals by 5pm local, but that is central time to me so maybe 7 is right, and tapped up? im not surprised, all fedex packages are insured so be sure to talk to them about it

I know for a fact it was at teh very least 6pm before the van showed up at the door, my mother would have tripped over the box and my brother would have tried to carry it in. Fedex terminal and UPS terminal are both 30 minutes from the house. Box was super taped up, I mean teh entire lid was solid tape. The inners had packing peanuts and teh big bubble plastic things. Sender said he packed it with newspapers, which i verified from the oriental scripts used on teh old paper, and i know the turbo wasnt packaged as it left senders home. The turbo had the packing nuts in both housings, which i can also verify from teh other packaging materials inside the box wasnt the original senders packing method. The turbo had once been wrapped carefully in thick paper and newspaper, taped up and set in the box. The way i got it, both the turbo and wastegate were both out of the 'wrappers' and free floating inside the box...

Well the box itself has been burnt up as of about 45 mins ago via the burn pile, however i have pics on my phone of teh contents of teh box. Just waiting to hear back from original sender on what he SENT in said box then going to reem fedex a new one...i didnt spend $265 to get a turbo with packing nuts stuffed inside, a wastegate, flange, gasket for WG, and only 1 of 4 bolts for the wg

So, I pulled into my co-workers drive way last night, pull onto his FLAT concrete parking area, put the car in N, set my E-BRAKE.
10 mins or so goes buy, someone come to the door and knock on it, asking "Who's little red car is this sitting aginst this power poll?
I ******* RAN FULL SPEED OUT THE HOUSE!
and sitting about 100yrds away, is my nice, newly washed and detailed CLEAN.
on the poll, but to get to this poll, it went all the way through a barbed wire fence, taking TWO metal post with it, and about 50ft of wire.

pass. tail light busted, bumper cracked and offset to the left, the barbed wire went over the car, tore some small and ONE big *** hole in the vert top, and scratched the T-TOP...

The car was sitting on the poll, in N WITH THE DAMN E-BRAKE ON!

So i got in, punched it, by that time the cops had been called, parked it back into my co-workers driveway, talked to the cop's, the whole time, im stunned on the e-brake ****!.

all in all.

Need new rear bumper.

new Vert top.

Tail light ( or a set of s5's if they would fit)

a paint job, seeing is how the wire and post's took some paint off..

But, seeing is how the car is a 88, im not paying for full coverage.
so, i get to fix it out of my own pocket.

Anyone with some parts???

**** me.. I guess from now on I'll do what my dad told me to do.. and put the car in gear when parking it. That's sucks terribly man.. The rotary gods must hate us for something.. first someone backs into me on thanksgiving, then my ticket, then derrick's, then fedex, and now you! Everyone better garage their **** and get full coverage!

On a side note. I got offered a vert top boot for $110 shipped is that a decent price? I really want one but I never expected to pay $100.

Whoa, that really sucks. Never good to hear someone come in and say something like that. I have a primered S4 rear bumper, as far as I remember it's in good shape, just has a small crack on the trim part. The only taillights I have are S4 coupe lights.

Crazy suicidal cars!

Hey derrick.. does your parts car have a radiator on it for sale? I've just came to the conclusion that'll I'll never get around to getting a new one so I'll just look for a used one local.
