how to...

im wondering what kind of equipment is used to get the video of the drivers feet, the guages, and interior. i know about the interior mounts, but what about the mounts and cameras for the feet and guages.

i like how to japanese guys film everything. its so cool, i want to know how to do it

no, what kind of camera.

do they use just normal cameras, or do they use lipstick cameras? is there a certain brand that specializes in things like this?

They use those smaller digital cameras first of all in case you haven't noticed them in the videos. So they aren't so cumbersome and they can be positioned better.
then all you do is get some mounts and mount them....LOL...for lack of more technical sounding explinations.
Then you just use an editing program and over lay the shots.
What is so hard to figure out about that????
When i worked at D1 we would re-edit alot of stuff for redistribution in the US. I didn't have hands on with that editing but I saw how easy it can be with the right programs.

I've seen some used that are 3x4x8 inches...
They are digital...
But the camera type shouldn't matter. If it records then it's getting the job done right???

I guess some people just need to be as JDM as they can be, huh?!

ok i guess im not making my point......for the camera any small camera works? what about mounts, what type of mount do they use? can anyone give me anything specific?
