Pretty cool...but the F20/F22C is a work of art. Why load up the car with all that excessive weight and power than the car already needs? More like a Corvette vert than an S2000 now...=\

It's interesting to see how well the 2JZ fits in the S2000. I would have thought it would be way in front of the front strut towers, and would totally **** up the weight balance of that car, but it actually doesn't look too bad in there. In an FD, though, it DOES sit way far forward, and it DOES totally **** up the weight balance. I'd honestly rather see him swap an LSx engine in there as opposed to a 2JZ, at least the car would still be able to handle...
Better yet I'd like to see him learn how to distinguish his *** from his elbow, and properly build a 13B "race motor" that can make a damn sight more than 450hp. Hell, you could build a ridiculous 13B-REW (or do a very clean 20B install) for what it's going to cost him to drop a 2JZ in there.

All I heard was $15000 for a nose heavy pig. The car is nice, I guess and seems to have nice power, but like a few of you already said, I would rather have the F22 done up or even a nice 13b.

You kidding?
Its not only about cool sound, the engine has more power, is more unique and more reliable than anything else that would probably fit in that engine bay.
So its like 100lbs heavier in the noise, its prob meant for a straight line monster anyway.
Healthy turbo?
LOL thats funny, you're talking about a couple hundred dollar turbo crapping out when we belong on a rotary forum where our engines blow up constantly.

Thats just crap ...besides the 2JZ swap in the 3rd gen will not work SP engineering tried it and it sucked ***...it wont work , the steering geometry will not work and you will end up with crazy bump steer...ask me how i know , unless you cut the firewall and let have the engine in the cabin ....the guy says crapy rotary engine , 99.9% of people who say that are poeple who didnt know what they where doeing and dont have a clue what it takes to make a rotary work ......dont bash something you know nothing about....that guy is a ******* idiot and retard

Ignorance is bliss.
Yeah rotary isnt the most efficient engine, but I dont see a problem with them.
Yeah the 2jz will suck on the fd, but thats okay. Race prepped rotary with 450hp HA!
Uhm... who actually wants to work on that 2jz s2k? i dont see any room for anything including hands. Although it has a nice fit and finish. No gaps anywhere.
And uh "...we belong on a rotary forum where our engines blow up constantly."
Sorry to hear that, it should be re-worded.
"...I(as in you, not me) belong on a rotary forum where my(as in you, not me) engines blow up constantly."
It just never happened to me, but then again, I don't run boost.

if we know wat were doing, and tune our cars properly, i dont see why our engines will give up unless weve got very high mileage. Plain and simple. we have fundamental cars, and clearly some people cant handle that.
the s2k sounded fast though. how much hp u guys think hes got. 2jz can handle sick power. Im still trying to getting over what he said though.

at last an s2000 that will see the light lol, but 16000 for the swap, no way in hell, he should've save and buy a mkIV or an fd. little punk seems to only live on crappy honda world, he said a rotary would not pass 450hp wth, almost all fc and fd's that are highly tune are well over 400whp and 500whp, i sure wish that when he takes that s2000 to the street he finds a higly tuned fc or fd so he gets beat on his pos of honda so he can stop saying rotary's are crap, ignorant kid. 2jz engines are well over 700hp and he has 450, incredible crap tunner there.
