When can we see the higher compatibility with higher bosst than 1bar? I think this is one of the biggest things holding the ecu back. Most people going stand alone want to run 18-psi. I am using my 2.0 stage 2 cause tuning for normal stock drivablitly is way to hard. Im all in on the daughter board over stock ecu the 2.0 gives me. I want to stay this way, so im hoping more updates are coming

^ditto...I really REALLY would like to see an update as my car is getting ready to be back on the road (FMIC install, koyo, and a few other things)...so I"ll be looking to tune this thing very soon.

what's closer to your definition of "soon"...a week...or 6 months?

patiently waiting!
But i do already have the 2.0 stage 2, but i am hoping you guys dont give up on us. I think the RTek is HANDSDOWN the best way to go, stock manipulation is the best standalone !!

Everythings coded for the update to the S4 TII 2.0 except the timing change. I know how to make the change, I just need to make sure its correct; measure twice - cut once kinda thing. This will be a selectable mode, so that people running milder mods can still use the AFM as the load sensor and use tweaked stock timing maps. Bear in mind that when running in MAP mode, you'll need to make your own timing map based on your particular mods. The default map will no longer be decent for everybody, it will really only be sufficient to start the car and drive in vacuum. Range will still be limited to 2bar (stock boost sensor) with entries every 1.5psi on the same RPM points as currently in the system. The ECU interpolates between the points (in 2D) so the spacing won't be a problem.

not so much injector sizing, but higher % change abilities would be nice.

sweet. im maxed out in the negative for my 1000cc secondaries as i have 720 set up. It will of course change when the tuning session happens, but i may need some 1200s, so i was hoping ofr higher % swings!
well things are looking good. I will wait for official release and figure out how i swap my rtek ecus. Do you want us to return the old ones to get new ones, or will you guys just use serial #s?

so...this update we can do away with our AFM if we use the MAP mode? You said we'll have to do our own timing map...what about fuel? Will there be any basic fuel map in MAP mode? I'm a complete n00b at tuning so I'm gonna be asking plenty of retarded questions..haha.

No the AFM is still there. This update will not have the AFM removal.

Henrik is referring to switching the timing to MAP based (PSI vs RPM) instead of AFM based (LOAD vs RPM).

I'm sure the ECU will default to AFM based timing so it will allow you to use the stock timing maps, just like you can now, until you are ready to jump into the MAP based timing. At which point you will change modes...

it comes with base map, the stock map. Your ecu is still in there. If you switch to map timing instead, which the ECU does not use, you have to put in all your own values. However, using MAP with timing you will be able to find ALOT of rule of thumbs and bases for tuning.
