Rtek 2.0 Official Update Thread :)

Please post any info on the update here.
ETA , features, etc.
We are eagerly (and yes impatiently ) awaiting the update that will unleash the tuning power of the Rtek.

Can we get any rough estimate on the ETA of the update?

It would really help tuning plans. There are several dyno days I would like to go to but can't. I can't safely tune above stock boost right now and make good power the way the timing map is setup.

I'm not trying to rush the process (I know you have a lot going on) just trying to get an idea of how long I am going to be waiting to tune my car.

Thanks
Ed

fc steve, Not really. Read this thread and you will understand the background on the part of the update I suggested.
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...46&page=3&pp=1

turbo2ltr, Good to hear. Would it to be possible to give us any info on the parts of the update?

Thanks the work on this EMS IS absolutely appreciated. I think the end product will really be a quality EMS that will compete with most standalones at a fraction of the price. I know I am being a pain in the ***, but I think I'm pushing the Rtek limits and pushing it forward and getting a lot of good R&D data for you guys to work with. What do you think?

Henrik and I are discussing what will be included in the upgrade as well as the completion timeframe.

We are currently discussing 7 possible new/updated features. I will post it once we finalize it. Your two big suggestions are on it.

Customer input is always appreciated. It doesn't do us any good to build products no one wants.

We certainly would like to hear wishlist items, but it's most likely too late to have them included in this update.

Viewable/printable fuel and timing maps via PL Viewer.

That is a good idea. ^
It would be easy to share info with each other that way.

Would it be possible to program the maps with the PL Viewer or with the Palm unplugged from the ECU & then update the ECU once you plug it in?
