No updates. But I assure you, as soon as we have some info, it will be announced here. We've been closed for the past week and a half so nothing new. Right now it looks like at least the N326 2.0 will be out before the N332 update.

So is there any timeline at all on the update (roughly the month), is it in the works? I am trying to be patient but I can't tune my car until it is here.
I do not want to blow another motor due to this tuning problem. It sucks I have a high hp car I have to drive at stock boost levels because of the EMS problem.

I am in the same boat. I can not wait till it does come out. However, I understand development takes time. I am a developer.

So by "can not wait" Do you mean can't wait as in your are highly anticipating it or are you not waiting any longer and going with a EMS that can tune your setup better. If so what EMS are you going with?

The problem is the timing "load" index maxes out at 7 psi, right? Why not just tune for 14psi at 100% load and work your way down from there. Sure you will have the same timing values from 7psi up to 14psi, but at least it will be drivable, you wont blow anything up, and it will hold you over till the next update?
Im not sure if that makes sense, but thats what i think ill do if the update doesnt come out before I uprade my turbo

you guys are doing an awesome job w/ updating this product and molding it to the true user and customer.
hands down the best product for FCs in a while
I'm going to be using a rtek 2.0 for my car while I break it in n/a and save up a shitload of money to buy the big bad 32bit standalone.
high compression built *** t2 motor. will be nice to see what she can do w/ a stock n/a exhaust manifold and the rtek 2.0

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay, its been a busy Dec on a number of fronts for me but
most of this is behind me now. Rtek wise, Mike and I have been busy getting
the 2.0 for S4 and S5 NA ready for beta. Now that the bulk of this is done, I
can bring my focus back to the S4 TII and finish off the remaning features.
Current new features list:
- increase fuel adjustment to +/-25%
- add EGR as programmable RPM based switch output
- add var res as general input
- add control of the startup fuel curve
- expand AFC control to 14x14 (down to 0 rpm, down to -13psi)
- convert timing control to MAP based instead of load (AFM) based
I've done the first 5, the last one is next. I don't expect it to be a lot of
coding but testing will be time consuming.
Realistically its going to be a couple of months before it would be generally
available. I'll likely have something earlier for beta testing.
In the mean time, gxl90rx7 has the right idea. The highest load point will be
used for all "loads" above that. Say on your setup you hit the highest load
point at 10psi but want to run 12psi, tune the highest load point for 12. It
does mean that loads between 10 and 12 will use the same timing but at least
it will be on the conservative side.

Im glad to hear the progerss! the rpm programable output will be nice as will another input, the rx7 world has been greatly improved by this product. Cant wait for the upgrade to be out so i can install it.

Sweet. Sounds like the update will fix most of the issues I had with the EMS.
After this update I believe this EMS will be on par with much more expensive EMS's!

1: I know it's been discussed. Not sure if/when though. If I had to guess I'd say close to or after the AFM removal code is added....but Henrik would have a better idea.
3: yes, it will be loggable so there will be a total of 2 aux inputs you can use to log any 0-5v signal...it will have a scaling setup as well, like the ATP input. Additionally, we moved the under hood var res into the software so you can change idle fuel right from the software.

almost all cars use a 5 volt reference so the MAP sensor will be a 0-5volt sensor, static pressure would be @~2.5volts, max vacuum ~30"Hg would be near 0 volts and 5 volts would be peak boost that the sensor is capable of, most boost MAP sensors are 2 bar but keep in mind the higher the capability of the sensor then the less resolution it has.
for the timing issue, still haven't played with the Rtek but for other standalones a good decently safe timing value is 13*BTDC which you could run for all your max load boost values up to 15PSI or higher, you may lose a little power in the lower boost levels where the load maxes out at 100% but it will taper off up to where it sees 15PSI or so. keep in mind that value is with a 10 degree timing split between leading and trailing, if the leads and trails fire together then even more timing would need to be pulled, i don't much care for 0 degree split but some tuners say the benefits are higher but you are playing with fire when dealing with 0 degree split and detonation chances increase. not sure what the stock maps use for timing split under a load so i am just referencing other tunes for graphic and possibly getting a temporary solution out there for folks.

However I have found another bug in the ECU when determining load. I will make a seperate thread and post logs. I found when I am under boost and everything is increasing (boost, RPM, airflow, etc.) I can be at 100% load (cell #18) and then it will drop down to as low as cell #14 with the same or more everything!? So watch out timing the cells below 100% load because you can be running say 6PSI and be at 100% load and then at even higher RPM's with 9PSI and be at 75% load. So make sure you log some runs and be sure of the highest PSI you ever see at cell #17 (second highest load) then set your timing accordingly. Not sure if that explanation made sense or not

Would it be possible to have an option to eliminate the ECU from going into CLOSED LOOP?
I have tried unplugging it which some say does this but I dont think it does. When I have the Inj. setting at 550 & 720 (I have 720 & 1000cc) when it goes into closed loop it often is way too rich for cruising AFR's. It will often be around 12-13 and at cruising I would like 15AFR. I believe I can tune a much more linear and fuel saving map then the ECU jumping into closed loop. I would rather control the entire fuel curve.

I have noticed that closed loop mode will only happen when i am slightly accelerating; if i let off slightly to cruise, it will go open loop and the afr's will drop to mid 12's,and the more i let off, the lower they get, down into the 10's, until it goes into fuel cut. which usually results in a fireworks show after boosting. which is pretty annoying cause it cant be good for mpg

I can disable closed loop mode without much trouble. I'm not sure what AFR it actually targets but it will be for a mix of getting emissions down (so whatever ratio is good for the cat) and mileage, likely more balanced towards emissions. It should average out around 14.7'ish.
The support for other injectors is hooked in at a point where closed loop will still work correctly. Now if you don't tell the ECU you've changed the injectors then closed loop will likely still work but it may be off in its target AFR (richer, as injectors are never smaller than stock how much, hard to say.

Can you guys PLEASE stop bumping this thread. It doesn't make it come any sooner! All it does is force any actually relevant information to page 64 making it harder for people to find.

I dont believe we ever got a clear answer on the AFM removal, will it be in this update?
It seems like once you go to a PSI vs. RPM based timing and fuel curve it will be useless correct?
Any rough ETA on the update also? I really want to start fine tuning my timing above the stock boost levels. I want to start going to some dyno events.
