How did you reload it?
i.e. did you just hotsync to the original computer or did you manually reinstall?

Have you pressed the reset button on the back?

*******Verify that the connection icon is a -[ ]- and not an X in the upper right corner.*************

I had this problem when I did a reset. It's like starting from scratch. LOOK for the X or the { } . IF an X, then take action.

If it's an X, take my word for it, it isn't the connection that is bad. Reload the software that was sent to you on the e-mail when you first got it.

yes, it is an x. Now, does it have to be reloaded from the original computer, because that may be the difference. also, what is the msci patch, am i supposed to load that? i had my cousin load up the software for me the first time because he is who i got the pda from. now i'm loading from a laptop at my house

This should tell you everything you need to know..
http://www.pocketlogger.com/index.php?pid=instl_soft

I dont think I list the RX7 PocketLOGGER in it, but substitute RX7 for "DSM". It's all the same procedures..

now, i don't think there was a registration number with the rtek, because they sent me the software right after i made my order. and the names match, so whats the next step is there a way to check the output on the ecu?

In THIS order:
Delete program off the palm.
Hotsync
reset
install logger
hotsync
try connection again.

I highly doubt its the ecu.

yes. Unless you manually save the "maps' file from the backup directory on your PC. Then reinstall afterwards.

Ok, followed the steps, still nothing. One note, when i did that, i didn't have to re-register my name on the pda. Could that be something to show interest in? I'm going to try and kill the battery completely again in place of the reset step.
