Quick injector question

Hey guys im planning on running an rtek 2.1 with a bnr stage 4 turbo and wondering what injectors i should be going with not sure if the 720/720 will be sufficient or will i need to go to 720/1600 and is it posible to get a good tune with 1600's with the rtek

Try this site...
http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx

If you know the type of power you're expecting to make from this turbo, you can calc the amount of injector you'll need.

Be careful with the large difference between your injectors as the ecu has a hard time bridging the introduction of the secondaries. Consider increasing the size of your primaries to help smooth out the transition.

hey thanks for that great site but I figured the 550 - 1600 would be ok with the rtek 2.1 because you can set the secondaries to come on earlier getting rid of that problem

Depending on when you purchased your Rtek, you may have an update that will control the secondary switching properly and you can possibly "correct" the hesitation but you may still have issues because you have such a large gap between primes & secs.

Find out what "build" you have and then search Turbo2ltr threads for his build update posting.

There are several recent threads about why it is a bad idea to run primary and secondary injectors that are that far apart, complete with technical explanation. I would never run 550/1600.

750cc and 1000cc should work out. if you use the 550/720 preset, staging will be easy
