i can give up a auto meter boost gauge for this. a rx7 has already won on pinks so lets make it two times. i could also give up a egt gauge of the same make. pm me and lets make this happen!!!!

That race did no justice for RX7 owners. It's time to show with something fast.

I'd be down to chip in something, I don't have a whole lot to offer right now, I've got a set of 12a irons, some misc. 13b parts and a fb shell but I would want at least the shell from the fb back in the end because if got some evil plans for it in the future.

I'm in, we should use some old school JDM too. How about an old cosmo? Or RX-3?

I say we beat them with a Pport 26b in a SA on alky. ALL OR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! It would be insane, think 7's at 175+ maybe. If some of the vendors and vets in the 7club find a place we can build it, I say we start a paypal account. ALL OR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! We gonna bring it BIG.

Im down. We need to figure out what series car we want to build and who will drive it. Where is the pinks race going to occur? What kind of time frame are we looking at to build this car?

Damn, and there was an rx3 roller local for $500, that would have been great. I could probably chip in a little bit if this is a definite go.

Both parties need to commit, then someone needs to contact Nate Pritchett.

if you guys are serious, i'm willing to contribute whatever i can spare. also depending on where the car is located, i'm more than willing to put in work to help build it. i don't weld, but i can do anything mechanical (motor-wise).

Here's a novel idea. Remember that first Gen RXTUNER was building. Well in lou of repaying all the subscriptions that were paid for and magazines never delivered....

"They" could donate the car to the cause. I have also read rumors about a lot of "go fast parts" that disappeared while in the possesion/vicinity oc certain current and forum forum members. WOW!!!! What a combination. They could rename the show:"It takes a pinks thief"

Then we could have a car show with AARotary as a guest star.

Of course if we got the deadbeat advertisers who conned Ryan into running their ads without paying for the space it could pay the nitrous bill.

And think of all the great parts people have made over the years. All the CF mumbo-jumbo parts that never materialized.

And lets not forget to install the infamous ANTI-DETONATION DEVICE!!!!!!

Hell, we cant get people to agree on the time of day, and you want to build a forum car? GOOD LUCK.

But if you come up with a viable plan, I will donate engine dyno time at my place.

manny you got your cars mixed up. Santo's car is a Sprinter, not a peanut. Peanuts are 71-74 Corolla Sedans. They're a little less desireable then a 71-74 Coupe AKA "MANGO".

Santo's car is a car all to itself. The 69-70 Sprinters are very rare cars and about the same weight as a Peanut.

Oh, but anyway I'm one of the guys from 3tc.com that thought of this crazy match race to begin with. I had originally planned on racing the Celica guys, but they're a bunch of no nothing bench racers who bark louder then they bite. I think at least you Rotor heads have the pride and knowledge to build something that might be able to compete with a 3TC. So what do you all say. A little Piston vs Rotor action here on the west coast?? The car we are building will be coming out of Las Vegas and if you guys commit to this I will try and contact Nate and see about a race in either Vegas or Fontana. They haven't come to the west coast yet so that might be a good bartering chip for the race. Also a couple old school 10 second RWD imports might be a sight to see too.

All you guys need to do is commit and we're in on our side. Also we have a clean titled car to put up for th race. I'll check the thread to see the response and that's about it.

This should be held at Atco Raceway in NJ. They hold the Puerto Rico vs USA event. Tons of 3TC's and Rotary's to go around.

This is a great idea, but remeber not all cars that apply to race on pinks get to race. I have a friend that has been trying to get on the show since Season 1 and no call backs, so keep that in mind. Also if the right people on here get involved I think this as a real good shot in being something good.
