My only action was playing with the two-step (Feathering it). You can hardly see the fire since it was so light out.

Who cares. Eric knows that **** happens. Keep it in the groove and don't think about crashing the entire time. Focus on your shifting, focus on your driving....9 seconds of thinking about crashing can't be a good thing to have going through your head during a pass.

Everyone has seen drag cars eat concrete....part of the game. Next Tuesday should be a fun time, not a worrysome fearfest. Respect the car, enjoy the ride, make the 9 sec pass, and then improve upon it.

So when is the next date you plan to race?

We need to turn the speculation of what it can run into some real numbers. The temps are cooling down a bit and now is your time to shine.

I would do a shake down pass and make sure it leaves straight and at the top end at the finish line at WOT with a 85% full pass is stable. After that let it rip on the next run.

You'll be fine. Good luck the next time out. You need to run less tire pressure BTW.
