Good luck!!
If I had to offer advice, I would say run through the gears slowly the first time down the track but on full throttle, no power shifting or anything fancy.
Once you know the car feels solid and is not breaking loose in the upper gears, hammer it!

Leaving in a minute to get my alignment done. My neighbors are going to hate me.

HAHA, thats awesome Eric. Hope all goes well, I want to come home tonight to find out that you've run a 9 second pass. That will be sick. Good luck out there and don't let off on the big end this time.

Good luck Eric!! 1st run is always nerve racking but you'll feel like a seasoned pro on the next pass. You can do it!! Bust a 9 in that thing before it gets sold. It'll make it all worth it. Btw.....your car is BEAUTIFUL!!

I heard that the track shut down at 6:45pm...someone had just posted that on a local forum for our area. Spent $33 on fuel, $15 entry fee, waited for 1h20m...then they shut the track down. Not sure if it's true, or what happened....but I hope Eric got his pass in before they closed the track.

I drove my car 45 minutes in the rain to get there, hoping that it was dry. I paid, sat there for 5 minutes and then they called it off because of the rain.
Very upset.
