Racing the 603 HP RX7 Tommorow.

Lets see how bad I can drive this thing. I'm driving it to and from the track (30 minutes eacg way).

My plan is to start out with a 6K pill in the two-step and see how well that launches the car. I don't want to start out with the 8K pill because I'm afraid of breaking the transmission.

I'm also going to start out with 16 psi in my ET Streets.

Boost controller set on KILL.

Any advice? I've had butterflies for the past week just thinking about this. I don't want to wipe out.

I know you'll get that 9 second timeslip, but what do you expect to see for your trap speed?

2500lb raceweight and 600+ whp translates into 147mph. With me driving, probably 120 mph

Yeah, going to have several people video taping. 16 psi in the rear tires and 27.5 lbs of boost.

BTW, Lupe, the RE-Worx guys didn't launch hard.... eased the clutch quite a bit..... and they ran in the nines@142, at 27 psi with same turbo as you, and with 53 less hp than you and likely carrying several hundred more pounds. You should best them by quite a bit, but it's hard to predict just based on peak power rating alone. Of course, it's area under the curve that really counts. Oh yeah, and a good alignment don't hurt (lol)

Take some sand bags to the track?

I'm excited for the vid, I've been waiting for you to take the car back to the track with 603hp, hopefully you don't have as bad of traction issues this time.
