I can't drive worth a crap, obviously....... I had no time to learn to drive the car since everyone kept breaking down.

Here is how the night went.

I was never able to make a full pass without getting in and out of the gas. I just wasn't used to it but was getting better and better as the night went on.

I did trap 113 mph in the 1/8th on the 12.90 pass but of course, I hit the brakes.

It has alot more left in it, I just need to learn the car.

 

Eric, that is awesome. You gonna go again next week? I smell 9s cooking. Congrats on the 10.3 and the nice mph.

well if this is your first time at the track with your car at its current power and weight, i wouldnt be ashamed of those times at all, i mean you can see the improvement just from one day...video of this beast is what everyone wants, whether its as fast as it could be or not lol!

Were you running full boost? With your car weight/horsepower, I was expecting 145+'s for the mph.

 

Yes, I was running full boost......... I would have had 145 + mph if I had a clean pass where I didn't let out or screw something up.

I started out with 16 psi in the tires, everytime I would punch it in 3rd, the tires would blow away and the car would kick sideways. That happened on two runs. I finally dropped the pressure down to 12 psi and it fixed that problem.

That is the same VW that beat me. Man I can't wait until this May when I get back. My dad and I will be putting in my 8.8" Rear end. Eric, you better still have your car then so we can pretty much go 1-2 every tuesday. That would be cool.
