Good job jay, your car is clean and well done ,looks even better up front .....I got to say, this west coast events are dead to no surprise
!! but I'm glad i drove to fontana , i had the change to say hi and hang out with old friends, and catch up on a few years gone by .Congrats to Santos winning the quick 16 with his 1.8 toyota tacoma engine biting another old friend Erick Aguilar with his 8 sec honda . I hope all the rotor heads make the next event in october ,it would be like the old days back at Lacr!!

Yeah, I agree Allen, but then again how many 12abp N/A stock chassis cars can turn a 6.99 in the 8th mile, or even an 11.48 in the 1/4? None on the West coast and East coast is debatable, so I am very happy and content with what I accomplished with the smallblock and am moving on.
I found some footage from fontana

Hey jay i can't find your
nice runs on all cars i saw out there.......rotaries are coming up here and there but there has to be a good established Race event with good classes for all to compete.
I was there at the event with my rotary 3 rotor drifter Rx7.....i was suppose to race a special event class but got canceled due to not enough cars like always....so i didnt have a category to race in because my car is a drift car not a drag car and was limited to my cage to go 11.50 sec.I know the car is capable of going faster with the power i have but with stock drive train is pretty hard to keep it in one piece.....long story short i ended up racing for time only.My first pass was just 12.8 sec going in and out of throttle and my second pass i broke my axle, but oh well just testing a new technology turbo i just got from my sponsor to try and it seemed to work really good ,but not good when you you cannot lay down the power =(.

I went to edit the videos that my Dad took and my 4 year old son could have done better with the camera.

All he got was the burnout, launch and about 1/8th mile and then he went to lala land, so it's not even worth posting unless you guys really want to see it?

I knew you were going to say that.
Ok, here's the three passes. As you can see I was spinning alot out of the hole and my Dad sucks with the camera.
Hopefully he will get it right when I make the world record pass.

It's not that bad, at least his commentary is pretty good
Rather odd that all 3 passes were in the same lane, when your qualifying here they make you do both lanes at least once. Definitely overpowering them start line, maybe could have dropped the pressure in the rears a little to compensate? Top job anyway mate

damn Jarrett that is a lot of wheel spin at the launch. If you can find a way to eliminate that spin for sure you can make it to that goal. I think you have to take the backlighting out of the cam, for better video..

That's what I was trying to tell you. The track was not hooking up. At least not for the left lane. I have the same setup and tire pressures as when I run at Irwindale and I cut 1.4 60fts all day long there. Believe me the track prep is alot different from these import events vs when the big dogs come out like at a psca event.
